Wtf is happening atm…

Yo! So, as many of you know, Hologfx is in Japan with some friends, and so I will explain what’s the current status of the projects, etc…

Jecht’s Projects

Asobi ni Iku Yo!

07 XviD to be released today.
08 is being encoded and later goes for QC/Rel. ETA: today maybe, if not, tomorrow.
09 is being translated.

Shukufuku no Campanella

10 XviD to be encoded.

Saki

09 and 10 are being TS’ed. (Yes, I promise it will be out soon.
11+ are being timed.

New Project

01-06 have a workraw ready. It’s a BD project. Vol4-6 are yet to be released.

Movie

Being edited, after that it goes to typesett. Then goes for QC/Rel. Expect it soon.

Hologfx’s Projects

Ladies vs Butlers! Special 6

In the encode queue.

Seitokai Yakuindomo

04-10 needs to be translated. No translator available.

Seikon no Qwaser

08 is being edited/TLC’ed.
09-10 are in the encode queue.
17+ needs to be translated. No translator available.

B Gata H kei

1-9 is being QC’ed and waiting for BDMVs to show up (or so Hologfx claims).
10+ needs to be translated. No translator available.

Kiss x Sis

04-05 are in the encode queue.
06+ needs to be translated. No translator available.

Mayoi Neko Overrun!

01-02 XviD and 1080p are in the encode queue.
03-05 are waiting for BD encodes.
06 is being QC’ed.
07-10 are being edited.
11-13 are being timed.

Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu

00-06 are being timed. 07-12 to be timed when the timer gets a hold of the raws. (Note: the timing is being made to the DVD, a time-shift to the BD raws later will do the trick. More info here.)

The Ones Who Don’t Know About Anime

Imagine if Doki Fansubs disbanded. Everything would become dull. (not that we actually are disbanding XD)
Now imagine poor kids living in the Kenya, Nepal, Cambodia, and Laos (this is where the funds will go). Most of these kids don’t even have computers like us. That means that they wouldn’t have access to the internet, and they also wouldn’t know about anime. Iknowrite? How can someone NOT know about anime? These poor kids don’t even know how to SAY the word anime. /me sighs.
Well, guess what?
You can help these poor children to learn how to speak! “How” you say?
Just Donate. Simple and easy as 1-2-3.
Every $40 raised can help 6 children for one month. I’m aiming to raise $200 or maybe even more.
As a cost for your donations, I will be not using electrical devices used for entertainment, also eating only a bowl of rice and a slice of bread (All of them plain…. T_T) every meal times (breakfast, luch, and dinner) , and drinking only plain water to quench my thirst (bye bye soft drinks T_T).All this will happen somewhere in 20-22 August. Watch me suffer from no anime! T____T
So donate money (anything will do! E.g. $1 or 1 euro) and make the time I’m not watching anime worth it!!

Summer Status Update

I decided to make this post just to let everyone know we’re still working on all of our projects and none of them have been dropped (or will be dropped). We’re currently facing one of our accursed TL crisis, as jkidd, our TL for Seitokai Yakuindomo and Asobi ni Iku Yo!, suddenly disappeared last week.

Current Projects: These shows are being subbed as they air with TV Transport Streams.

Asobi ni Iku Yo!: Episode 04 is waiting on ED translation, after that is final QC and release.

Seitokai Yakuindomo: Episode 04-05 are being TLed.

Shukufuku no Campanella: Episode 06 hasn’t aired yet. This is the show least likely to get delayed, as ZeroYuki is the only consistent TL.

Ladies vs. Butlers Specials: Special 05 is being sorted out by Holo.

Old/Backlog Projects: These are old or backlogged projects. These will most likely wait for their respective DVD/BD releases.

Seikon no Qwaser: BD Vol.2 is at TLC/QC. BD Vol.3 is at Encode. Eps 17+ are awaiting translation by EdwardDFMA.

B Gata H Kei: Episodes 01-09 are mostly done script-wise. 10-12 are awaiting translation.

Kiss x Siss: BD Vol.1 is ready. BD Vol.2 is at Encode. Episodes 07+ are awaiting translation.

Mayoi Neko Overrun: BD Vol.1 is at Encode. Episode 06 is somehow still at editing. 07 is done. Episodes 08+ are awaiting translation.

Saki: 09+ are at Timing. Our timer for this show dramaquit for RL issues. Volunteers are welcome.

The Melancholy of Haruhi-chan Suzumiya: Episodes 6-24 are awaiting translation from Spicy-sama. (Spicy-sama was last seen here 20 days, 16 hours, 37 minutes ago. Yeah…)

Air: Holo just returned from China, and this is probably his new BD project.

This concludes our current status on all the projects. You can also check on them at our Projects page (http://doki.hologfx.com/projects/), where they are being constantly updated by staff members.

R.I.P Onemanga + Status?

Onemanga will remove scanlations in a week’s time.

I actually read from Onemanga from time to time. I follow two shounen romance mangas; Kimi no Iru Machi and Good Ending. I wonder if any of you do too.

In anycase, I seriously doubt the closure of a couple of online manga sites will stop the piracy of manga. As far as it’s of concern, the scanlation groups still goes on doing their translations. It’s the same situation as with animes, even with crunchyroll or FUNimation licensing, irresponsible fansubs still pick them up. (Oops, we do crunchyroll animes too, lol)

Well, if any of you are wondering what the hell this random post is about, it’s just another random post. (I know I’m not answering the question) I think we seldom see such posts on Doki, I don’t know if this will waste server bandwidth or anything. But I got this urge to write something here to “reward” those who come visit our site.

I also might as well do a status update. Seitokai 03 is at TLQC. This is to ensure that the jokes are fully conveyed and shit will not be left out. It may (not) be out soon. Asobi 02 is at Edit. (It’s supposed to be slow right?)

I also heard that Black Rock Shooter is going to be out in 2 days or so. Tony-san, our tler who agreed to do it is M.I.A for 18 days, 11 hours, 21 minutes. So you can probably guess our progress with B.Gata H Kei, and also in no way related Mayoi Neko Overrun.

This announcement was a request, because more ppl visit this blog, so there is more chance of the selected roles be filled up. ^_^

B Gata H Kei: 03 is awaiting QC/Rel. 04 is being typeset and 05 is being edited. 06+ are being translated.
KissxSis: 05 is being edited. 06+ are being translated.
Mayoi Neko Overrun!: 05 is awaiting QC/Rel. 06 is half translated and timed. 07+ are being translated.
Senkou no Night Raid: 06.5-08 are being translated.
Saki: 07 is being timed.
LvB Special 3: is being translated.
Haruhi-chan: 05+ are being translated.
Holo adds:
Clannad: 720p being encoded, 2 episodes at a time. Encodes will be complete some time this week. All that is left is retiming/time checking the scripts and then they can be released. 1080p to be encoded after 720p.
Air: DVD scripts being QCed and retimed.
Haruka: BD will be released using PD raws since the BDISOs are not appearing after over half a year of waiting, and the series is not good enough for me to spend money to buy the BDISOs. To be completed over June.
Chu Bra!!: Will do it in the summer if time permits. If not then I’ll do it later.
My last exam is on this Thursday, so I shall be active again Thursday evening.
