Princess Lover! OVA – 01

Hey guys, I’m back! So after sleeping off my jet lag and fixing various problems my PC picked up while I was away, it’s time for more releases.

First thing out will be Princess Lover! OVA. It’s not really a surprise release, as I wrote this in the planned projects section some time ago, but if you don’t check the projects section often, then it’s a surprise.

It’s hentai. (My SFW post pic does not reflect this.) This means it is censored. Because it is a hentai. I cannot make this any clearer… so don’t ask for uncensored versions, because there won’t be one.

I guess ZeroYuki will add a few words of wisdom when he gets on… I’ve not seen the original Princess Lover! series nor played the visual novel, so I don’t have any comments…

ZeroYuki: OVAs are produced by another animation studio which is different from the original series. The voice cast are also different from the original series as this is hentai afterall. I tled this because I tled the original series. So this is for the sake of completion.

Except that timing lines while they are moaning and groaning cos they’re doing you-know-what is really annoying.

Ok guys/gals, it’s been a long ride, fun and all, but every good thing comes to an end at some point and this show is no exception. I personally loved the show, looked forward to every episode. And without further ado, I shall mention the staff that worked on the show:

ZeroYuki always translated really quickly sometimes he even timed, always concerned about the shows he works on, a really good staff that I will miss (he is retiring). Best of luck out there ZeroYuki, always here <3. Another member that made this possible, kokus! Sometimes because of his work the workraws and encodes came a little late, but we wouldn’t have come this far without him. *Thumbs up* Editors… Most of the episodes were edited by nt, this last episode was edited by AvidElite, thx a lot for your awesome work guys. TLC and Lyrics was ergZay department. Timing was done by masat, Cillu, ZeroYuki and dymitr. The karaoke effects are LynX974 and FloriaN^’s art. All the k-timing was done by Pahndamonium. Typesetting was Badskater’s section. The QC and Distro was done by Hologfx and I.

Bungaku Shoujo (BD)

Bungaku Shoujo, a.k.a Literature Girl or Book Girl. I came across this series after watching one of the many OVAs under the title. They are adapted from a complete set of 8 light novels. There are a total of 13 in the series, the others are side stories so there is real plot in this show. The movie is largely based on the 5th volume and takes the end scene of the final novel hence giving it a true ending.

The series revolve around a boy, Inoue Konoha, and his interactions with different characters (girls). The entire story is pieced together starting with how he found his ambition to write, and the eventual release of his book which got widespread success. Eventually it inevitably caused a rift between his childhood friend; Asakura Miu, as well as an encounter with Amano Touko who changed his life forever. It has typical drama elements of teenage angst, relationship issues and suicide.

Preferred Sequence of Watching:

Bungaku Shoujo is strongly recommended for people who like drama and romance. There are no fanservice of any kind given it’s done by Production I.G. The ED is “Haruka na Hibi” by Eufonius. These are the same cast for the OVAs.

I am selling these mousemats to raise money to pay the set up fee for some servers. I have a variety of mousemats from various series. Set up fees for 1 server is 50 GBP, so if I can sell 10 at 5 GBP each, I will cover the set up fees for 1 server. Ideally if I can sell 20, then the set up fees for 2 servers are covered.

How will this work?
