Will this come with a uncensored version or nah?
Any notes on this besides the obvious all-age stuff such as fiddling with the TL, new scenes, etc. I dunno if Doki is still in charge of this or through Fruit or whoever. ‘Cuz I see the OP karaoke and that’s Doki footprint right there.
Wasn’t Sekai Project involved in this? If so, they often release the all ages versions of the visual novels they publish on Steam, and then they release the 18+ versions (when there is one) on Denpasoft a little later. So if so there might be hope. If they’re not involved though, and VisualArts did this all on their own, then yeah, I doubt an 18+ version will be coming.
Yeah I know about Steams policy but they do allow steam patches towards 18+. As Rokudaime wrote, Sekai Project does some titles like Nekopara offering a steam patch to get the original version, so was wondering. I’m not into steam but for this title I might since never tried the Memorial edition.
Sucks no 18+ at the moment but it be nice to let Key know there’s interest in the 18+. Thanks for the info Holo.
I was refering to them releasing 18+ versions of their games on Denpasoft, not the patches that they occasionally do to patch their all ages versions into 18+ ones on Steam, but yeah, they do that as well.
I am aware of what you meant I was simply referring to them on the steam page via forum. Front Wing, the guys behind Grisaia released one on steam forums for their mixed genre VN/Huniepop kinda game Purino Party. Link in my user name. I also am not expecting a physical copy to be done so is the only other option left to give some support.
I haven’t bought the game because I can’t see myself giving myself some time out of my day for playing the VN, but i can’t see any creditation of doki in the steam page. I do remember seeing a “thanks” post somewhere but that was like a year to three years ago or sometihng

Did you get the physical English copy of Clannad, Clannad Man? 😀 I posted pictures of my copy in your (and my (actually, it’s the only Doki sub-forum I visit. :P)) favourite Doki forum thread. 😀 Post some pictures if you have some cool new stuff as well. For the last year and a half (more actually), me and shawurai have had to keep the topic alive all on our own. 😛

At this time, an 18+ version is not in the plans, because Steam does not allow 18+ content, unfortunately.

I’ve already told Visual Arts and they’re aware that there is a huge interest in an 18+ version.
Let’s just wait and hope for the best.

I’ve been wondering, since the translation project was handed over due to the licensing of the project, does Doki get any (ANY) creditation?
