Hiya! Firstly, apologies for the delay on last week’s episode. I committed a cardinal sin of fansubbing by putting my social life first, and snuck off to a friend’s to watch movies, dance to ABBA, and eat pizza. :’D Sorry I kept you waiting! I hope you all had a lovely weekend.

Episode number nine! It doesn’t seem like long ago that we started this series, but the last however many weeks have absolutely flown by, and suddenly we only have two left. A big thanks to Caly, Psi and Holo for sticking with me this far, and to all of you for giving up twenty minutes of your time each week to watch our show. ^_^ I’ve loved watching it, and I hope you all have too!
This episode opens with a big storm brewing. In most shows, this would probably be cause for death / crisis / epic drama. In Usagi Drop, it’s simply cause for…well…more of the gentle, adorable sweetness the series has been full of to this point! Yes, there’s a reason I really like this show. ^_^ Hope you enjoy the episode as much as I did!

Usagi Drop – 07

Holo told me to hijack the blog post again. We’re getting toward the end already! The season has absolutely flown by, and it’s kind of frightening to think I’m already nearing the end of my second season with Doki. Thank you for continuing to watch my translations. I feel very honoured to be a part of such a lovely group, and I’m happy to be allowed the chance to actually do something productive with my Japanese for a change!

This show makes me want to go and give my parents a big hug every time I work on it, and as soon as I finished translating tonight, I charged away from the laptop to find my mum and tell her how much I loved her. ^_^ I hope you’re all enjoying it as much as I am! A hearty “oh~!” to all our wonderful watchers, and special thanks to everyone involved in this release who isn’t Mimi.

P.S: If you live in Europe, have a Wii, and like Japanese RPGs, buy and play Xenoblade Chronicles. I played it last year in Japanese, and it’s like the best game ever. And it just got released in English! You’ll like it. I promise. I’m not just being paid by Mario to endorse the game. No no, not at all. *whistles while sliding aside sizable pile of gold coins with foot*
