    Which torrent shall I taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake

  • Udbhav

Sometimes i hope that they would just have sex with each other and end the anime. Why make 12 episodes when its going to happen anyway?

    • IKR. Just for once I’d like to see him pin his imouto down and pound the living daylights out of her.

      YnS got that part right.

      • Madoka

Suppose this will calm her down, and heck good fan service… doubt she will complain.

        • Ero_Yatsu

Forget complain. She’s clearly trying to lead him down the road that leads to him fucking her. I think she would be delighted if he just went for it and she didn’t have to put so much effort into getting him to. lol

          • Madoka

lol well it would save time this way, he can just take her many many many advances, go for it and everyone’s happy – well dunno about him but she sure wouldn’t mind a cut down effort on the whole thing =D

          • Akiko

Given that Akito is the author of those “Forbidden Love” books, there’s a pretty good chance that he already wants to fuck Akiko really bad πŸ˜€
He might just be too scared about what people would say, if he should openly show his love for his little sister.

          • Pelfmiester

The problem is getting him to accept the situation when he won’t even accept the girls who aren’t his sister. A cute gitl asks me to be her boyfriend or to fuck her she isn’t going to have to ask twice. And then you have Akito…

          • Pelfmiester

The answer to this question is most likely the same as to ‘Why would you sell a BD with 50GB worth of space which contains 2 fk.ing episodes of a 12 episodes tv show for 80$?’ Yes, this is an otaku show and teasing the audience has proven to be the most efficient method to gather a shitload of cash.

      • And then arrest the kind soul who was uploading BDs for everyone πŸ™

        Bad Japan. Bad!

        • Play

Come to think of it, are any of Doki’s BD projects affected by this incident?

          • Holo

We shall see, the guy arrested did upload a lot of our stuff. Hopefully someone jumps in to fill his place. But that may not happen for a while, due to the fear factor.

          • Rawr

That’s a shame, that said the Japanese police seem to be really cracking down on that stuff in Japan. Where as in America/UK, anime isn’t seen as a huge deal.

I guess as anime is more embedded in Japanese society that its understandable.

          • Play

I’m not an expert on the Japanese social system, but I don’t think it makes much of a difference in which country you live, if you upload tons of commercial content, even though I suppose anime is over all more valuated in Japan than it is in the States.

          • Rawr

            @Play

Authorites in the United States and the United Kingdom amongst other countries are less likely to be looking on file sharing websites for copyright infringement as anime piracy is less important to them(They are more interested in movies, music and in some ways TV shows).

Where as in Japan, I’m sure the police are ontop of this and have people looking on sharing websites for infringers, judging by the amount of people arrested for uploading manga/anime.

I personally haven’t heard of any cases on TV/Newspapers in England about someone being arrested for downloading/sharing anime/manga before.

Which is mostly my point. The only cases that would likely come to light outside of Japan would involve these licensing companies speanding money(Which most don’t have) to bring people to justice. Which is why at most websites get cease and decease orders from some shows from Funimation, but downloaders, well they’re okay.

          • Play

            @Rawr

It’s not even that unlikely that companies outside of Japan are suing people due to licensing violations e.g. the Funimation case a few month ago (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2011-01-25/funimation-sues-1337-bittorrent-users-over-one-piece), which is not the only public case recently. Ya, this is a policy of deterrence measure, but oh well, the upload case in Japan is too.

          • Pelfmiester

It’s not just about anime. I seem to hear more about Japan arresting people for pirating than I hear about America arresting people for pirating blockbusters.

          • Rawr

            @Play

The Funimation case didn’t come to anything and was thrown out by the Judge, as Funimations claim wasn’t valid, and the Judge ordered them to re submit the claim against 1337 individuals personally not as a whole.

Funimation doesn’t have the funding to sue 1337 individuals.

I don’t think anything else ‘big’ has happened since then right? They’re just sticking to sending Cease and decease scare tactic orders to websites, no one individual within the past 12 months has felt the wrath of the law in US/Europe due to downloading anime right?

          • Play

Of course, no one actually gives a shit if a bunch of people download anime. However, if you are by far the biggest uploader of expensive BDs and even live in Japan it’s obviously a different story. In some way it’s like the shutdown of MU, a huge drumbeat followed by a rather long silence.

          • Rawr

Yup, I agree, as said πŸ™‚

          • blame japanese music factory that forcing the government about this *stupid* policy

          • Pelfmiester

            @ Play
But in Japan it wasn’t just ‘this guy’ bacause I’ve seen plenty of other cases where people were arrested in Japan. I think even for just normal uploading on bittorrent.

          • Rokudaime

I’m so glad I live in Norway. πŸ˜› Anime is barely even sold here, so nobody gives a fuck. I’m pretty sure stupid American companies like Funimation can’t touch me! πŸ˜› Well, it’s not like I’m uploading anyway though, I’m just sayin’.

          • Rawr

I would love to see anime sold in my area. No one seems to stock it offline, be it Morrisons, Tesco, Blockbuster etc.

Either way Japan are really cracking down on piracy in regards to anime, that said you can kinda see why, what with the amount they charge for DVDs/Blu Rays there. The cost for one disc is more than the entire series of said show when released outside of Japan lol

Example being Madoka, you can pick up for Β£20 here on DVD, I would imagine the DVDs would set someone back a few hundred pounds if imported from Japan.

          • Rokudaime

I honestly don’t understand how they manage to sell anything with those insane, absurd prices of theirs…Japanese consumers are idiots for just going along with it…

          • Rawr

            @Rokudaime

Indeed. I can only assume that some people who buy these releases go without essentials like a decent quality of living to be able to afford 80 dollars a Blu Ray disc 2 episodes, or live with family and thus have no rent/bills to pay.

That said, I think it also has something to do with anime appealing to a lot of older adults in Japan too holding down decent jobs, thus they can drop the money on these releases.

Because honestly, if those prices were introduced outside of Japan to anime in general worldwide, the industry would collapse and Funimation/Section 23 etc would go broke.

I would never pay those prices, if I was born Japanese I would download my anime because its simply too expensive in Japan lol

          • >Japanese consumers are idiots for just going along with it…

fun fact…. the Japanese consumer is really unique compare to any other countries.

Back then, when they sold their dvd cheap, there were one community that always bought their stuff, so they tried to increase dvd sales with cheap price. But, it didn’t work

So now they increase the price as high as they like. But it looked like japanese otaku will try to buy it no matter how ridiculous the price is.

            U can’t use normal logic here πŸ˜›

          • Rawr

I don’t think there was a time where Japanese anime dvds/blu rays were ever cheap though Index. I thought in some ways they’re super expensive because they need to recoup the cost of producing the show and not having to rely on American companies licensing.

I can kinda see where they’re coming from though, there’s no guarantee more people will buy a show if its 30 dollars(If the show isnt as popular).

Stuff like K-On! is a license to print money though lol

          • Index

@Rawr… That’s in modern-era, bro. But they had tried in in the past. Maybe in 70’s or 80’s. And maybe u need to know, actually Japan never care about America licensing their stuff or not. With or without them, Japanese market will continue to move on. They have such a crazy and unreasonable otaku market.

This is why, anime will be success if its BD sales more than 2000 disc. Not counting sale outside Japan.

more info, u can read this

            http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/feature/2012-03-05
            http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/feature/2012-03-07
            http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/feature/2012-03-09

And maybe u need to pay attention at this one

“The prices actually stem from a business practice we used to have in America, too: rental pricing……
            …..
            …..
But the fans proved them wrong. Otaku of all kinds (not just anime fans) started buying the videotapes and laserdiscs, and they bought them at those high prices that were intended just for video stores. There was no reason to lower it.”

          • Rokudaime

Huh…So it really DOES come down to the otaku masses of Japan being downright crazy consumers willing to spend any amount of money on their anime without complaining…*cough*idiots*cough*…

          • Those kinds of ppl that makes anime business still running till these days. Say thanks to them! πŸ˜›

          • Rokudaime

I think the anime industry would and should still be able to run even if the consumers were to demande fairer prices. The production companies are just greedy, I don’t think thy need that much. Also, if the consumers were more picky and demanding, then the producers would have to work harder, and we would get even better anime. πŸ˜›

That said, no wonder Japanese otaku hate us western otaku for pirating all their anime when they (many of them anyway) pay so much money for it. πŸ˜›

  • Irie Naoki

Thanks for the release, really appreciate the work you guys put into these releases.

  • Jay-kun

    Thanks! πŸ˜€

  • Nyaa

So what is the story behind this? Something about blu-ray?

  • Arere~

may I ask why the hi10 still on wednesday? Is this a raw perhaps?

    • Zdm321

As was stated in previous release posts:

The show airs on a satellite pay-for station called AT-X on Fridays. We do not have caps for the AT-X airing, so we just use pre-encoded 8bit raws that others upload.

The show airs on Tuesdays on a free, OTA station called Tokyo MX. We do have caps for the Tokyo MX airing, so we encode 10bit from Tokyo MX.

      • Arere~

        Sankyuu for the early response.
I rarely visit since I only get links for either animetosho or otakucop. Since Doki is the early bird, I usually follow your releases for uniformity.

Again, Wednesday right? That’s a small wait.
        Thanks.

    • Holo

Capping problems, which means that we are unable to cap the first airing.

  • Ero_Yatsu

I love Ana. For some reason, I’m drawn to girls with expressions like that. Plus the jokes she always makes make me laugh. Thanks for this~

    • Pawprint

I despise her. First, she reminds me of Usagi from Mayo Chiki, whom I hated. Second, I just plain can’t stand this bitch.

      • Rokudaime

You might as well have saved yourself the trouble of typing that second reason of yours, as it adds absolutely nothing when you don’t tell us WHY you can’t stand her. ┐(οΏ£_οΏ£)β”Œ

        • Pawprint

I’m terribly sorry that I expressed an opinion without the requisite forms filled out in triplicate. I hope it doesn’t cause too much extra paperwork for those of you in the Office of Useless Fucking Replies, but those of us in the Department of I Don’t Give a Shit About What You Think will carry on.

          • Rokudaime

Jesus…What crawled up your ass? O_o I wasn’t even insulting you. What I ment was: “I despise her. She reminds me of Usagi from Mayo Chiki, whom I hated.” would be fine, and so would: “I despise her. I just plain can’t stand this bitch.”, and finally: “I despise her. She reminds me of Usagi from Mayo Chiki, whom I hated. I just plain can’t stand this bitch.” would work as well. But the way you typed it doesn’t really work, because the second “reason” isn’t a reason at all, and adds nothing. It’s like, categorizing each paragraph, it’s “I hate her-reason-I hate her”, rather than “I hate her-reason-reason”, which is what I’m guessing you were trying for. Does that make any sense?… (‘^_^)

          • Index

Lololol, you two really made my day XD

          • Pawprint

“[…] rather than ‘I hate her-reason-reason’, which is what I’m guessing you were trying for.”

*Sigh*. No. Here’s the simplified version:

            1) I hate her because of [REASON].
            2) Even if I didn’t have a specific reason, I still can’t stand her.

            Get it now?

          • Rokudaime

Ah, right. Didn’t think about that. My bad then. ^^’ But that’s interesting, that basically means that there is something else about her that rubs you the wrong way, but you basically don’t know what. πŸ˜›

      • altazure

She doesn’t remind me at all of Usagi, whom I liked way better than her.

    • >Ana
Makes me remember about Nozoki Ana

  • Madoka

Thanks for the new episode upload, always worth waiting for a Doki release πŸ™‚ Must say i find the girls in his great… ok make the main chick have no blood relation and bam you got me into her for life… or i am either way – probably because she is so cute or because i find her so dam funny xD
    Anyways thanks again Doki.

  • Elvin21

    Thanks for the release!

  • Kuragari

Someone cap a “Guu he he” sound clip so I can turn it into my incoming text sound XD

  • tYyPpI

Thanks, really enjoying this one so far.

  • tama

black > yellow > red > silver (white)

  • Madoka

Must say i loved this episode, the reaction from Akiko’s face when ann(or whatever she wants to be called) makes her touch her breasts, how she collasp is great, but… i can’t deny she looked so dam cute when she was just lying there on the bench xD

  • Kore wa

    Zombie Desu Ka onegai?

  • Geese1

Thanks, been waiting for the 10-bit release!

  • Holo

It greatly amuses me to see the amount of people complaining on /a/ that our OniiAi release doesn’t get posted on Nyaa πŸ˜€

  • DH531

    Thanks!
I wanna go London Expo too~~ But I has no money, and no one to go with >.> I think i’ll wait till May haha

    • Holo

We’ll be going again in May too.

      • Rawr

I’ve never been to an expo before either, that said I have no interest in cosplaying despite knowing people that do.

At times I wish I lived near London but honestly don’t know if I’ll be able to make it to one someday, money isn’t any issue or anything.

        • Rokudaime

Aww, cosplaying is fun Rawr, you should try it! (I’ve done a pretty good Vergil cosplay from Devil May Cry 3):D My dream is to cosplay in a complete and realistic looking Gilgamesh (from Fate/stay night/Zero) armor, and I actually found a skilled Japanese woman (I’ve seen her work) willing to make one for me as a one-shot custom order, but the only problem is, of course, that it will cost alooooot of money. >_< So I won't be able to afford it any time soon….

  • ThePutz

    Thanks for the SD version

  • Rokudaime

Damn, wish I could go to that expo…

    • Rawr

Perhaps you could plan for the 2014 expo, giving you plenty of time to budget for it lol

      • Rokudaime

Yup, you’re right. I was actually planning to go for a trip to England again around that time anyway, so going to the Expo at the same time sounds like a good idea. ^^ Holo also said I ought to come, so now I defenitely plan to go there next year. Looking forward to meeting the team. ^^

  • LL

Why is Hi10P version larger than h264 version? o.O

  • LL

It doesn’t matter, but one of the advances of 10bit is make file smaller yet quality is the same as, isn’t it?

    • Zdm321

      Read my posts above.

      AT-X airing is on Fridays.
We don’t have an AT-X capper.
We mux with whatever raw gets posted on Share/PD/streaming sites (which usually tends to be ~200MB. The ohys raws are AT-X SD upscaled to 720p, so even though they are bigger, they look like shit)
      = h264 720p release on Saturday/Sunday

Tokyo MX airing is on Tuesdays.
We have a Tokyo MX capper.
We encode from the MX transport stream
      = Hi10P 720p + h264 480p releases on Wednesday

    • TL;DR

encoder of 8bit raw =/= doki encoder of Hi10P

    • Holo

No, Hi10P gives a higher quality, and may give a smaller filesize, but not always.

  • LL

Oh, I see. Thank you guys.

  • koikoi

    “Bokeh” and “Tsukomi”? Really?
