Next to something like Ghibli, I think Key are one of the most loved studios in Japan now aren’t they?
Ignoring the studio that does Bleach/Naruto etc for a moment, in the land of the normal, Key is loved more right?
Ghibli and the studios that do Bleach/Naruto are animation studios Rawr. Key are not. They’re a game company specialising in VN’s. So it doesn’t quite make sense to compare them. ; ) That said, Kyoto Animation, who did the Air, Kanon (2006, not 2002, which was done by a different studio, and wasn’t all that good), and Clannad+Clannad AS anime’s, IS one of the most loved studios in Japan anyway, so in a way you’re still correct. ; ) They have done a lot of other famous and successful shows as well after all, such as Haruhi and K-ON! According to this ranking: http://anime.biglobe.ne.jp/userranking/etc/33173/ the top 10 most popular animation studios in Japan are:
1.Kyoto Animation (I agree they are the best)
2.Sunrise (Gundam series, Gintama, etc)
3.P.A. Works (Angel Beats, Hanasaku Iroha, etc)
4.Shaft (Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, Bakemonogatari, etc) (I love this studio ; ) )
5.Production I.G (Blood-C, Guilty Crown, etc)
6.A-1 Pictures (Working!!, Uta no Prince-sama, etc)
7.J.C.Staff (To Aru series, Ano Natsu de Matteru, etc)
8.Bones (Fullmetal Alchemist, Soul Eater, No.6, etc)

10.Studio Deen (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni series, Seitokai no Ichizon, etc) (I think these guys are underrated. I mean, they made Higurashi and Seitokai no Ichizon, both of which are really awesome series!)
So as you can see KyoAni are actually way more popular than Ghibli, if we belive this ranking that is, which of course is open to debate. ; ) That said, I think it sucks that UFOtable isn’t high on the list. They made both Kara no Kyoukai and Fate/Zero, so they are one of the best ever imo.
Hasn’t been decided if we will do it yet.
Or maybe just go straight with BD release, just like the rest of Key projects

I guess my original point to dymitr stands I guess, I mean when I said to consider it ready when its ready, as in no timeframe for coming out, no answer to exactly when, but when its ready, it’l be released.
Hmm, he/she must have been gone for a while by now then, right? Can’t you assign someone else to translate the last OVA? I’m also waiting for it.

For those who want to know, Calvados is an apple based alcohol which is really strong when freshly made. It’s usually drank after some aging in casks (can turn syrupy after a few decades).
By the way, I think Calvados here refers to the alcohol and not the French department with the same name which the alcohol comes from, because the Girl introduced at the same time is called Grand Marnier, which is a liquor brand.
