Great release! Looking forward to the next! One issue though is that .zip doesn’t support unicode last time I checked so any filenames with japanese characters will be broken. This was shown in the onii-chan no koto OSTs that were bundled with the batch. Not sure if someone brought this up already but .rar or .7z are good alternatives.
The Japanese shows up fine for me when I downloaded them. My system is set to Japanese locale though, so that could have something to do with it.
Yeah I’m using XP with english as default. I found the problem was that I had to set the language to JP when extracting to get the proper filenames. You can set it either in the control panel and reset your comp each language change or use applocale to set your archive program to japanese. Hopefully that helps people.

I would like to see more flac anime soundtracks from Doki, but would diversifying cause the video side to suffer? Also, there are lots of flac anime soundtracks if you look for them although with the “demise” of several torrent sites lately one wonders. Big brother is alas getting bigger but making about as much sense as the tv show in the process. The rich just keep getting richer and they are never bloody happy even then. Rant over for the moment! 🙂 Go for it, Doki!
Not at all, ripping a CD takes a matter of moments, so pretty much no impact on video side.

I prefer flac myself. It means I have the best quality version I can get on my pc where space isn’t an issue.
And if I want to move certain tracks to my phone to listen to I can encode them to whatever format I personally prefer.
Well it is the best quality, but the human ear can’t hear any difference, so I don’t really see the point.
Why not take a picture that not only captured visible light, but also the other wavelenghts of the EM-spectrum? Because it’s f*cking pointless.

I have flac tracks that sound a hell of a let better than their mp3 counterparts. So that’s not really true.
Well yeah, if you want to listen in surround there’s indeed a difference. I don’t listen to my music on surround, just a simple headphone or stereo, I can’t effort anything better.
If it’s just for those ordinary uses you could just as well use MP3 and encode at a higher bitrate.

I’m a big fan of Key’s works. I absolutely loathe the term “keyfag.” It seems needlessly and unintentionally insulting, a derivative of “Keyfan” I guess.
Not a fan of the term myself either, but then again its no skin off my back. Blame 4chan anons, its easier to roll your eyes at that way.
Though I don’t use the term, it doesn’t seem insulting to me at all. I think anyone who loves Key stuff enough will proudly proclaim it any way they wish too.
