For me, to be honest, it’s Kotomi > Nagisa > Fuko > Ryou > Tomoko > Kyou… So no, I can’t agree with that Best Girl thing. Anyways, keep the BDs coming!

Mine: Kyou > Tomoyo > Nagisa > Kotomi > Fuko > Ryou. Leaving the “best/coolest/cutest girl” thing aside though, my favourite CHARACTER in Clannad is Sunohara! ; D I mean, c’mon, the guy is the best comic relief ever! He’s awesome! ; D
Since so many are posting favorite girl I dont want to be left behind. So here is mine:
Nagisa > Tomoyo > Kotomi > Ryou > Fuko > Kyou

Hmm, it’s easy to spot a pattern in your preferences. Basically you probably don’t like outgoing girls, and you prefer the quiet shy types. Nagisa, Kotomi, and Ryou are all shy and quiet, Nagisa and Kotomi more so than Ryou. Tomoyo is not shy, but she is rather quiet and serious normally. Fuko and Kyou on the other hand are both confident and outgoing, Kyou even more so than Fuko. It’s a matter of preferance I guess. I’m the opposite, as I LOVE outgoing girls, especially teasing ones like Kyou. ; )
well I think I have to disagree with you on that, I sometimes like outgoing girls, my least favorite types of girls in anime are the shy type and Tsundere type, maybe thats why I dont like Kyou since she sometimes acts like she can do whatever she wants and get away with it, Fuko I just think is annoying so many times.
I think the reason I rated Ryou so high is cause she knows when to give up when fighting for the man while Kyou just… yeah… but you are kinda right. Mai waifu is Shiori, I wouldnt say she is the shy type, just the character is so lovable.
Shiori, as in Shiori from Kanon? She’s defenitely shy no matter how you look at it. So are Nagisa and Kotomi. I don’t think you can really say that you dislike shy girls man, it probably just depends on the character. ; )
She does not seem like the normal Shy girl used in every other anime, the shy girls I hate are for example Ryou or those types that cannot talk normally for example Shiori (from Kanon) and Nagisa, they do appear “shy” but at least they can talk normally when talked to them and they reply normally and not like “ehh, ahh, eek, ahh, I err… well… EEK *runs behind friend*” <– the shy type I dislike alot.
although I really like Shiori from the World god only knows as well, don’t know… Maybe cause of all the moe that character has
I see what you mean, but you’re making me confused in terms of whether you like Ryou or not. In your last few comments above mine you make it sound like you like her, but then in your comment directly below mine you make it sound like you don’t like her. Also, I wouldn’t say Ryou isn’t able to talk normally with Tomoya, I’d actually say she’s less shy than Nagisa and Kotomi, not the other way around. She was even brave enough to confess to him in the alternate Kyou Arc episode. Oh, and I don’t see how you came to the conclusion that Ryou knows when to give up, and Kyou doesn’t, considering they both gave up at the exact same time (during the scene when Nagisa hurt herself, and Tomoya wouldn’t let another guy help her). Just sayin’.

Don’t say that to any actual twins, as many of them would mostl likely get mad or annoyed at you for it. ; ) Twins are individual beings, and most of them don’t like being treated as a “set”.
You misunderstood… Or maybe I must have phrased it wrong…?
I did used the term “SET” because if it were “PAIR” then triplets and more will be ruled out…
Even I knows that twins… in actually are individual beings… And no matter how small… Differences are common within each twin… 😉
I said what I said because I just don’t like the idea of choosing one and not the other… They have their own individual traits… But having just one and breaking the pair/set isn’t mine cup of tea… 😉

Well ok. I like choosing just one of them if their personalities are very different though, such as with Kyou and Ryou. If they are similar, I think they go well as a set as well. Oh, and now you’ve gotten me curious with those two pictures of yours. ; ) I asume it’s from a visual novel? Could you tell me what it’s called?

I clicked the link, and chose to download the song. It didn’t open in any Quicktime plugin on my computer, because I don’t HAVE a quicktime plugin, since I removed mine from my computer (I just found it to be in my way). Anyway, it’s alright though, seems the file has disappeared on its own after I turned my computer off and on again.

Hey everybody, I’m new to the scene here. Being new, my first priority was to find my favorite Anime ever in the highest quality possible and I just wanted to thank you Doki for being the best of the best with Clannad. Clannad was one of my firsts and I’m glad it was. It has an amazing story, a powerful message, and one of the best dang soundtracks I’ve ever heard. Now, watching it this this quality it’s absolutely breathtaking. So thank you guys so much!
On another note: I would just like a little clarification on something about this. I recently re-watched Clannad in a stream in all it’s terrible quality, but still amazing glory and when I downloaded this amazing picture I was incredibly excited but I could tell that the sound was a little quiet when compared to the stream I had been watching. I’ve been tooling around with my player and I found out that turning off the matrix upped the volume a little bit, but it was still a bit quiet. This is my first time ever confronting FLAC before so I know nothing about it. I don’t have any super extensive sound system either so I’m just playing it at Stereo 2.0 right now, but the sound still seems a little quiet.
Long story short…could anybody clarify this for me? Is this a hardware issue, codec/player issue, or just the fact that I’ve never listened to FLAC before so I don’t know semi-decent sound from amazing sound? Thank you!!
