This week in Chibi Devi’s never ending quest for cultural enrichment we have Rai balancing Pepe on an umbrella; which is part of a traditional form of entertainment called Daikagura, and originates from rituals used to drive away evil spirits.
There are also Teru teru bozu, which is basically a charm that looks a bit like a ghost and is used to make rain go away.
