will the OVA have a BD release ?
If you mean the Darkness OVAs, BDs do not exist for them.
Let’s me wonder why they do that. Releasing the series as BDs but the OVAs as DVDs.
For a low-risk way to gague sales, usually. Not really in this case, but in general.
Some standalone OVAs get BDs, and some non-sidestory ones do, but stuff like this usually stays in standard definition, I guess to give fans some extra service for cheap.
And since Doki never do upscales and encodes it in its native resolution it still looks really good when I fullscreen it on my 1600×900 monitor
Makes sense.
And about upscaling: Shana season 1 BDs are a good example for a bad upscale.
The OVA DVDs came with various manga volumes. Bundled discs are almost always DVD, with Hyouka being a notable exception.

Anybody knows if there is patch for the 6th episode? On the zip file with all the patches, that’s the only one missing but in the batch torrent there is v2 for it.
