Rumour has it that there’s been small progress in Baka Test s2!
Come February it’ll be 4 years since Haruhi Chan came out too lol.
The way I understood it from Zdm the last time I asked him, he has no plans to finish it ever, and already washed it off his hands, so unless somebody else in Doki is on it, I don’t think we’ll ever get a Haruhi-chan release from them. They’re not adding it to the (so far empty) dropped projects list though, so maybe the rest of the team just doesn’t know that Zdm is no longer working on it (maybe he forgot to tell them?)?
I already went with Delicio long ago, since Doki would never finish the show, and they did a good job, so I’m fine with Doki not releasing it really, but I do think they should quit being stubborn and just throw the show into the dropped projects list if they aren’t planning on ever finishing it.
Hopefully someone will come along and pick it up. It would be nice to have the entire series completed by one group. If Doki ever does release Haruhi-chan, hopefully they will pick up Nyoron Churuya-san for the heck of it.
Also, praying you guys do Nagato Yuki-chan no Shoushitsu

It would probably be easier, and quicker to use the Region 1 subtitles and modify them. You know, just to get it done lol.
Pity we won’t get a Season 3 though, I liked this show enough to buy both seasons.

I think they said they aren’t doing it, as far as I know. Underwater did a great job on it though.
