Since I like this show (Mitsuki best girl, Rose_t you’re so wrong) and it came 2nd in the poll that people wanted us to do, here it is. Has been ready for a while but the 2nd volume still hasn’t appeared online yet so I’ve been holding off releasing hoping it would show up sooner or later… Anyway, will deal with the other vols when and if they show up I guess!
The BDs also came with Japanese subs, I thought about including them but it would mean 70mb extra filesize and I’m not sure how many people would be really interested in them to warrant an increase of that size.

70MB on the 1080 releases would be insignificant.
What benefit would be gained from including Japanese subtitles? Is it something unique to the show?
Hence why I said I’m not sure how many people would be interested in them.
Well, it might be somewhat useful to people trying to learn the language…I guess? Best I can come up with. ┐( ̄_ ̄)┌
Thanks! 😀
Thank you 😉
“spirit world warrior” I know it’s not a wrong translation, but it sounds horrible how long it is compared to Ikaishi. why not go with something like “spirit hunter” or just leave it untranslated like youmu?
and btw you misspelled right as wrong Ix( ¬‿¬)
If we could read Japanese, we won’t be here to watch anime with English subs. I guess ixlone understood it well. 😛
Of course ixlone is so wrong.
Izumi is the best!
I’ve noticed a small mistake in the second episode: the name of Shindou Ai was written in the wrong order. Keep up the good work guys!!
Son of a… Thought I’d caught all the name order stuff.
Will fix it for the batch.
@ixlone
It’s just odd why the group would even consider including Japanese subtitles unless it was integral to this specific anime’s congruency. It’s just never been offered in the past from what I can remember.
Because Japanese subs on anime TV show BDs are _extremely_ rare, I’ve only come across them a couple of times. The last few seasons have actually seen an increase them though.
My thinking behind it was that people might be interested in seeing the written form of what is been spoken on screen, but like I said, I’m not sure how many people would be interested in that to justify the file size bump for everyone.
Thanks for this 😀
Also what do you mean Vol. 2 hasn’t been released? upto vol. 3 is out 😛
If you read the post properly you’d see that I said it hasn’t appeared online yet.
Been released in Japan != online copy of the BDMV that I can use. 🙁
70mB?
Just add it to the XDCC list
did not see this coming. Thanks doki!
I’m interested! Just for the sake of learning kanji and testing how much I understand. Those subs are the usual sup format right? Is there no way of converting them to ass without manually typing it out?
As a non-native speaker of English I’m more comfortable watching American or British TV shows and films with English subtitles. I assume some people with a (fairly) good command of Japanese might prefer Japanese-subbed anime over unsubbed anime for the same reason. Those people are probably fine with English subtitles too, but if you understand the original language it’s less confusing to have both the audio and the subs in that language (and this way nothing is lost in translation).
That being said, I can understand why the extra 70mb might be a deterrent (though I personally wouldn’t mind the size bump, whether or not I used the Japanese subs).
Just put the jap subs as a separate file, for those who might be interested?
This sounds like a good idea. That way everyone’s happy.
Thanks!
Thankyou kindly.
I’d like to see the JP subs, if only out of curiosity.
I`m studying japanese, and i`m in an intermediate plateau (about JLPT 3, trying to get to 2), so watching this show with JP subs would be a really good practice. Otherwise, thank you for the release.
Any seeders?
Please.
