IIRC this release missing next episode preview at the end for EP.04, EP.06 and EP.09 (compared with the TV 480p from UTW-Ryuumaru). It’s not that preview very important anyway and I’m not complain – just for the sake of the completeness. 🙂

The previews from those eps don’t exist on the BDs.

Yeah, if you think about the arcs, each last episode of an arc is probably treated as final episode of arc. I can see why there is no preview for those episodes on BDs.
Why do you have to always, always overcrop the image? It would be great size/quality releases if not for that. Of course it means your other recent releases as well as Yosuga.

I don’t see how it’s forgivable to crop good pixels for nothing. Yes, Yousuga has slight lines at right and left sides, but only there and no more than 2 pixels if you desperately need to suppress that. I would prefer them to be left there, as we can always crop on playback if needed.
Two didn’t cut it with YnS. There was still edge crap showing through that I can see clearly and since I prefer a clean image that’s what happened. If you’d prefer it your way then download or buy a copy of the BDs and encode a version yourself with the bad edges and be happy with that. I’ll be over here with this version that I’m more than happy with.
And yes SAO probably is 2,2,-2,-2. A lot of stuff is, because a lot of stuff has bad edges that we want cleaned up.
So you intent to continue overcropping… Looks like I have to look somewhere else.
I could also complain about excessive warpsharping, but if overcropping is “cleaning up edges” in your dictionary it would be useless.

There is slim chance that my “whining” would motivate you to actually learn to AviSynth and your releases would be useable. Just for that.

While I generally don’t like when the story is split into different what if scenarios I quite enjoyed this so thank you very much. So much more hardcore than I was expecting just from reading the synopsis xD
One of my favorite animes – even though I was never impressed with their decision to split it into what-ifs, nor the blatent ecchi scenes – I understand sexuality is a natural, but it just felt like it was slapped in for fanservice rather then for the sake of the characters – excluding Sora’s arc.
regardless of those misgivings, a rare gem that made at least “some” attempt to taking a serious approach at forbidden love, and the trials/discrimnation that go with it. (true its based of the VN, but the anime adaption could have easily tip-toed around it, but they stayed true to the story, and I respect that.)
