Another Japan trip loot release. This time from Stefl1504’s haul. He bought this Blu-ray doujin and wanted to do it, so here it is.
A few notes about this release…
First off, yeah, the lip syncing isn’t exactly matched to the audio. The dub was done after. Secondly there are two audio tracks and two subtitle tracks. Default audio is the japanese dub and the second track is without dub. First subtitle track is normal subs, while the second sub track has the lines coloured to match the hair of the person talking, so it’s easier to follow if you watch it without the dub, as it was originally released.

A doujin blu-ray? First time I’ve heard of that before.
I didn’t know this got re-released on Blu-ray. Cool.
Could someone explain what this is? Is there more of it (sequel, prequel) or this this a stand alone OVA? Where is that character from, a videogame right?

It is a fan made anime. There are only 2 episodes so far with a third one officially announced (This is the first one). It clearly is based on the Touhou Project characters.
Not quite. In the Gensou Mangekyou series of doujin Touhou anime, there are 3 released. This one follows the events of the game Perfect Cherry Blossom, and the second two follow the events of Embodiment of the Scarlet Devil. There are a number of PVs following the events of other games. Of the full episodes, only the first two have dubs as the third was just released at winter comiket and doesn’t have a dub yet.
For the midsummer’s dream series, there are two episodes released and a third announced. These are full half hour episodes that have original stories. They’re also noteworthy as whoever did them managed to hire a full team of professional seiyuu to voice the characters.

We wouldn’t release anything without English subtitles.
So i heard there’s 4 episodes of this released already, and they are all released on youtube, its really hard to find the torrent -_-
When I click on the Memories of Phantasm torrent link on this page, I get to the Anidex site okay, however, the Anidex page is empty (no torrent links). If possible, please put the Memories of Phantasm torrent link back on Anidex.
Also, the sixth episode of Memories of Phantasm was released about three weeks ago. Are you all planning to sub episode six? (hope! hope! hope!)
