Doki, i love your encodes but dam i hate this 10 bit shit. My piece of crap computer can barely handle 10bit. I use a wdtv which of course does not play 10bit. For everybody that suggest to me to build a htpc, if i had the money to do so, this would not be a problem. Until i can build a new rig hopefully soon with my income tax check i hate 10bit
What are the specs of your computer, may I ask?
What ‘poto’ says below. I’ve been recoding 720p 8-bit with hardsubs for my phone for a while now. My old netbook with an Atom processor could smoothly manage 720p 8-bit except for a couple specific episodes, but about half the 720p 10-bit was a no-go…they generally worked on an even older Celeron based laptop tho.
It’s probably suicidal but I have been looking at Ascendtech’s AMD barebones (http://www.ascendtech.us/amd-barebones-computer-systems_c_custbb64.aspx) because I want to rebuild a desktop around an FX-8350 as cheaply as possible. Just something I can offload my quality-based transcoding on to.

Ask google for “deadfish” subs. They reencode most of the releses of other groups to 8 bit, but hardsub.

Trust me, if I could help Doki with translations I would to the best of my abilities, but I only know Japanese through watching them, not actually taking classes.
