Copy the volume files into the batch download location and let Transmission sort things out.
They’ll work. No reason not to, since Macs nowadays have the same bash shell as linux. As long as you have xdelta3 installed, it’ll work. If you don’t have it, grab it from http://files.dotalux.com/xdelta3.zip and unzip it in your $PATH (i.e. /usr/local/bin )
GNU = “GNU’s Not Unix!”, same with GNU variant GNU/Linux.

Yes, I can do that but booting into Windows just to patch a few files is a PITA. If it can be done using some Unix utility – which OS X should have if Linux does – then all the better.
OS X is far from any Linux containing OS. If you want to be a Linux user, get it. OS X is NOT an alternative.
I don’t give a shit. OS X can be running on top NT kennel for all I care.
I just wanted to patch files.

It’s a lot more troublesome then you think. :s
Shutdown machine, slowly boot into windows, search for and copy file to windows partition (yay for incompatible file system), run patchs, shutdown machine, slowly boot into OS X, copy results back to OS X partition, delete files on windows partition.
vs.
Download torrent file, open it, move existing files into batch location, weed out v1 duplicates, wait.
I was going to seed the batch anyway.
