For some reason, I can’t download the hi10p batch. It gets a lot of seeds but the kb/s stays low and the download percentage doesn’t go up at all. It’s probably just my problem but…
Yup, just your problem, working fine for me.
Sort your client out.
Is there no NCED? Only the OP? O_o
Thanks. I have been meaning to finally finish this anime. Nice to know I could watch it with awesome subs and good quality 😀
no the NCED’s were not included in the BD’s if they were you know that doki would have included them..
Thank you so much for releasing a non-10bit version of the BD release.
Forgive me doki for asking some stupid question but i really want to know what is the mean of v2? version 2?
Yup, just so. The v2 usually just fixes small errors in the script that people spot.
So if I understood that right the Hi10P version has the better quality despite also having a smaller filesize?
Why would anyone want the 1080p then? Requires less powerful hardware maybe?
The 10-bit 1080p release is the first real challenge to my PC, I have no trouble with the OP or the episode itself (my CPU usage at 30-70%) but when it comes to the ED theme, my video framerate suddenly drops to 8-12/sec making the whole video lagging, the sound is still ok though but my CPU usage suddenly increases to 95%
The “Magia” ED Theme.
No complaints though, it seems my CPU is starting to show its age.
Maybe try play around with the different rendering options in MPC (assuming you use it), one might work a bit better for you on 10bit.
Can also try change the subtitle options to a lower res, uncheck allow buffering, etc. During kara the three lots of subs can eat into the CPU on lower spec machines.
uncheck animation subtitle
i also had same problem with Hiryuu’s Dog Days D:
@Ixlone,
Yeah I’m using MPC.
I tried your suggestion of disabling the animated subtitles and it does the job pretty well. The lagging is now limited only to the most animated parts of the ED theme now and it’s hardly noticeable. Thanks.
nice to hear that, my friend 😉
I tried playing the hi1080p version for the first time on my computer and it wont even play right. Do I have to patch it or something?
You need to install the latest version of CCCP or K-lite mega/full packs.
episode 9 is durara instead of madoka o.o;
Durara?
I think he encountered this strange phenomenon I’ve noticed where if you attempt to play a video that isn’t finished downloading, you may see ghosts of previously downloaded videos, even if you’ve already deleted them.
ah, i see, so that’s how it is ….
thanks for the info about this weird phenomenon ^^;
Sadly my notebook could only play 480p, any higher resolution would making it lagging, but still, are 1080p has better color than 480p or just the different between of their resolution?
I went to the website for CCCP, how do I know if its the latest update? Can anyone send a link?
http://www.cccp-project.net/download.php?type=cccp
Will always be latest version.
Okay I do have the latest CCCP codec, the one that says 2011-07-30
Is there a new one or something? Or do I need to also download the k-lite pack? Will that mess up anything?
Only need one or the other.
If you are still having issues, i suggest uninstalling all media players and their codecs, then _just_ installing _either_ CCCP or k-lite.
they will conflict, u know. just install one if it 😉
None of the 8 bit patches work as the its asking for a DIFFERENT CRC on 8 bit (eg ep1 as for [376D0D4B] while the 8 bit one is [61825630] prepatched)
NVM I did a CRC check and the episode 1 CRC is indeed [376D0D4B] while the filename has [61825630] in it. For proof check your 8 bit xdcc link where you can see the v1 of episode one with [61825630] in it (which I got off of).
I have download your madoka 1080p hi10p batch,it’s need to patches again??
Ep 11 does.
I usually rename my anime file in anidb and i rename too your’s madoka hi10p eps 11 and it’s already v2 in mylist,so i need to patch again??
If you downloaded the v2 file from us, from either XDCC or FS, then it’s fine.
If you’re still unsure check the CRC of the file [6EA3A212] with anime checker, if it’s the same as the v2 file then it’s fine.
I’ve check its CRC as in what you suggested, and the results fit so I do not need to patch again, right?
My file is ok, right?
Thank’s for your’s reply
Yup, it’s v2.
I’ve downloaded the 1080p torrent and there seems to be a glitch in the NCOP from 1:06 to 1:12. I tried redownloading it but it still has the glitch.
Weird, I just tried playing it with MPC. The video didn’t glitch but I there was no sound for a second or so.
When I play it with VLC there is sound but missing frames.
Checked the crc?
Checks out OK
Plays fine for me, no missing frames or sound issues.
Hmmm, I seem to have a framerate drop at the moment these things happen, drops down to somewhere near 18 fps.
Just opening one of the episodes and checking the ED gave me 15 fps.
The CPU is having no problems whatsoever, MPC uses only about 12% at the ED (without subs).
As for the GPU I have a NVIDIA Quadro FX 880M with approximately 2737 MB total memory.
I’ve been playing around with some settings but I’m not very familiar with MPC
Changed the output mode to EVR Costum Pres. and fixed the Internal Filters according to some guide, it worked!
While you issued a patch for the 8bit version of ep10, the 10bit is 2 frames off, you can tell from the various signs.
I’m curious about one thing, how do you get a 10bit video to display properly in Aegisub? I run the Madoka eps through it and it doesn’t decode them properly. But the videos play ok in MPC with ffdshow codecs.
And I used ordered chapters to stitch together all the episodes into a “marathon mode” of the series. Total run time is 4 hours 23 minutes, with only two instances of the OP. It’s just 14MB, I’d be happy to share it with everyone.
Fixed, added a patch for 10bit ep 10.
I patched episode 10, the 720p one. And at about 6:49 while playing it, the video completely stops playing. =/
Does the crc match?
crc? @_@
Now which patch should I download for 10bit eps 10 that I downloaded from your batch, because I saw there that needs patched?
In episode 4 at the 14:53 mark, the line is “It won’t get better unless there’s a miracle or someone uses magic.”
As I only speak English, I can’t comment on the accuracy of the translation, but it’s always seemed forced or stilted to me coming from a character who does not know of Kyubeys and contracts. He’s paraphrasing doctors, who are unlikely to put it quite in a way that makes it almost seem like alternative medicine.
If this batch were to be re-released for some other reason in the future, could perhaps passing consideration be made to recasting this sentence? If it fits in closely enough with the original line, might I suggest something along the lines of “It won’t get better without a miracle or a magician.” A magician is just the noun for someone who uses magic, and it sounds a lot more dismissive in this context. It would still fit with the contrasting lines that the nearby girl’s says subsequently.
I downloaded the hi10P versions of ep 10v2 to 12 and I am having problems playing them in MPC with CCCP released 11/11/11. I was able to play ep 1 thru 9 without any problems but ep 10v2, 11v2 and 12 just won’t play. any suggestions?
I downloaded the Hi10p batch which has v2’s of episodes 10 and 11. Do I need the patches, or is v2 the latest?
Hmm, why no NCED? :-/
Never mind, found out why.
