Yes. They both are as good as Clannad Season 1 so far. Hoshizora is on the level of Nanoha in entertainment, but Iroha is falling behind like P&S did. Basically, Iroha is trying to be very original and act like it’s some drama in anime form when it’s just too obvious about it. P&S also tried some “creativity” and failed as well. Iroha is better than Hoshizora though because of the character development. It’s really tough to decide overall though. Hoshizora is going with what has worked for years, but Iroha is trying something new and gambling a bit. At least both of them are better than K-ON.
Hmm. Well I was giving my honest opinion. The first season of Clannad isn’t generally regarded as a masterpiece and it’s no where near as good as After Story. It does deserve about a 7/10 though which is what I’d give the two anime being discussed here. (so far)

No, they can’t. They’re too different. This show is just the typical harem anime so far (and likely will continue to be).
Iroha is boring. Hoshizora, while likely a typical harem, somewhat entertains. Comparison made.
