In any case, this is a pretty common expression in Japanese. It stands for Kouki wo Yomenai 空気を読めない. See the KY? It’s basically someone who can’t read a situation well and is making stupid comments. Good expression to remember. 😉

I’m pretty shore i saw a “should should” were there should of only been a “should”, i didn’t take a note of the time tho and i can’t find it(didn’t look that hard) some one ells will probably pick it up.
This was FUCKING random, it gives me a lucky star to-the-power-of lucky star, times FLCL. Im pretty shore thats the most randddom opening i’ve ever seen. i feel like there are some referents is that i was missing, like the random explosion. STILL i LOL’d so hard at some points that i was having trouble breathing.

Seeing how many problems the first episode had, I think it’d be better to not focus on speed too much and give an extra hour doing more TLCing and QCing.
Depends, u a chinese malaysian or a Brunei? If u take the Indo dialect of Malay into account n any slang they use, they all still, as far as I know, greet each other fully. At least, here in Malaysia.
Must likely she is either referring to Malaysia or Brunei. Maybe Malaysia more since there is a more active Japanese community(not to mention Otakus) there.
Are you planning on doing a v2 of episode one? The ending conversation between the professor and the robot seemed to run off in a different direction… or maybe it’s just me…

I like this show. Just plain humor with no strings attached. Reminds me a little bit of Seitokai no Yakuindomo.

That comparison makes Doki subs look a bit shaky. Not berating you guys, but it really looks like you fumbled on quite a bit of context.
Musashi Quality’s manga translation is pretty much the same as CR and therefore UW-Commie’s translation.
These are probably the worst speedsubs that I’ve seen for a while. I’m definitely going for UW-Commie next time.
