Oh good, Doki is doing this. I’m fervently hoping that at least one good fansub group decides to do each of the shows I’m watching so I don’t have to settle for crap on any of them. Looks like Campanella is accounted for nicely.

In Japan, some (or most?) TV stations censor shows to protect younger audiences and prevent people from taking offence. Our raws which we receive, derive from Japanese TV.^_^
If you’re looking for uncensored versions, just wait for the blu-ray to release as it is always uncensored.

this was my second guess as to what they were gonna sub, although i was hoping they would maybe they would surprise me with strike witches 2 since no one seems to be subbing it.

Ah, this first episode was fun!
I remember briefly reading about this show on Anidb after searching each of this season’s shows from the AndrewLB wiki, and from what I had garnered, this modus operandi is something akin to ARIA THE ANIMATION in a fantasy RPG setting.
Thank god.
I was really hoping for a chill show like this. The only thing they need to do is slowly elaborate on their world; peoples, cultures, religions, nations, social hierarchies, etc. I mean, I don’t need a full sociological breakdown, text book style, I just want to feel more immersed in their world, and the best way to grant this sort of setting depth is to elaborate on the background using fictional religious/political/social hierarchies.
