The torrents certainly aren’t dead. None has less than 5 seeds. I for one am seeding every episode so far, 24/hrs a day. Just be patient.

I’m having a hard time DLing kanon BDs, right now, I’m DLing Kanon ep 14,15 and 16. alone gives me 15 kbps which is unusual to a fine-seeded torrents.

If you’re having trouble downloading the older eps, you can always get them on IRC. If you don’t understand how to use XDCC transfers, just join and most of the time me or someone else will be willing to help you. Just don’t do it in the middle of a mafia game xD
