New Game! – Chapter 73

This is one of those chapters where the character acts exactly how you’d imagine they would.

And here’s the first two chapters from the volume 7 tank. Chapter 65 has the bonus colour pages. I’ll add in a contents page when my physical version arrives. The digital scan for it is terrible.

Nice relaxing chapter (though I wonder why Aoba is still living at home with her parents even after getting a full-time job quite a while ago, and now being successfull as well. I’d be out of there as fast as I could). I can’t remember, is that the first time we’ve seen Aoba’s cat? Also really liked those extra colour pages for chapter 65. I feel like the author is gradually being less and less subtle when it comes to Rin’s true feelings for Kou.

Btw, any chance you’re working on the BD’s for season 2? ^^

Also, a question about chapter 73. What’s “egg soup porridge”? Is it a soup or a porridge? :-/ It can’t possibly be both, so my head is confused. Is it a porridge that tastes like egg soup? But an egg soup would just be a soup that tastes like egg, right (and thus the porridge would also just taste like egg)? Or is it different?

Anyway, thanks for the chapter (and the updated chapters)! ^^

I believe it’s rice porridge made with egg soup instead of water.

Also, in many parts of Asia it’s less strange for a single child who has a good relationship with their parents to stay with them for a bit; especially when you consider Aoba isn’t even post-undergrad age yet. Also, if the commute isn’t too bad to Eagle Jump, it’s economical as well.
