I’m actually really impressed at how well they’re using the new characters so far. We’d had basically the same cast, so we were due for some new characters anyway, but they didn’t fall into the trap of focusing only on the new characters and diverting attention from the main character; instead they use them well to develop the characters we already know and introduce new situations for them. I’m getting pretty excited to see if it keeps up.
