¸I find your general lack of appreciation for Megumi disturbing.
Megumi’s deadpan is what makes her interesting. She’s an ambiguous character that the audience has to read into. She’s the polar opposite of a shrill tsundere like Emiri and helps raise the show above being generic waifubait.

Megumi’s role is that of an anchor of sanity, a silent tsukkomi in the ocean of otaku madness.

Is there any logical reason to using HE-AAC profile over much better LC-AAC profile? Is the goal to be less supported? The file is not below 128k either. More importantly both Lav audio and FFDshow does not acknowledge its existence to play the audio using either PotPlayer or MPC and to boast it via ffdshow.
I can’t seem to see the videos on all 3 files released so far (00, 01 and 02), however, I can hear the audio. and audio alone. No subs either (probably because I can’t see the video)
Is there a codec that’s required for me to see? I’m using MPC with the megacodec pack.

Okay so apparently I just found out that you can’t have both CCCP and K-lite at the same time (I don’t know how all these works)
So I tried installing CCCP after K-lite and everything was replaced by CCCP and I still couldn’t see the video (audio can be heard)

unistall those garbage packs and install kawaii codec pack, much superior.
Installed that, still doesn’t work.
I guess I will have to go to my last resort – HORRIBLE CRUNCHY RIPS
Ignore previous reply, turns out K-Lite was the problem. Uninstalled K-lite and it works with kawaii.

I am using MPC and K-Lite too, but no problems here. Maybe the combination of K-Lite and CCCP is the reason?
Just tried uninstalling everything and only reinstalling K-Lite, still could not see video.
My K-lite installer’s name is “K-Lite_Codec_Pack_902_Mega” if that means anything.
That was your issue then the k-lite. You need to use the latest one. I have K-Lite_Codec_Pack_1310_Mega and works fine along with PotPlayer latest 1.7.1915. The only useful thing about CCCP now is the updated VSfilter 3.0.0.322 nothing else and kawaii is not superior that just stupid.
So would you still recommend K-lite over the others?
