Uh, vowel shortening rules are present and accepted in the Hepburn system. Use of du/zi can actually produce more accuracy by distinguishing characters that Hepburn does not recognize as different.
The fact that you, personally, refuse to accept anything else does not make it “objectively correct” and “fact”.
Windows doesn’t even recognize “zu” as an acceptable input for the character in her name, nor does any other keyboard input system I’ve used, so claiming it is objectively the only correct way, well, objectively wrong.
I’m sorry, you weren’t saying we should use Hepburn, you were complaining about us using some “obsolete version of Hepburn,” weren’t you? But it’s not even Hepburn that we’re using to begin with, so I misunderstood what your complaint was.
It’s really difficult to take your assertion of this being an objective fact seriously when you clearly can’t get any of the facts straight, yourself.
PS, vowel shortening rules are not obsolete, and are one of the most popularly used forms of romanization, as they are present on every single official English sign in Japan. And du/zi are also part of the most commonly used form of romanization, wapuro romanization, that a hundred million Japanese people use anytime they type on a keyboard.
So calling either of those obsolete is pretty badly misinformed.

Id reccomend asking in a kono bijutsubu post. Tho, we dont drop things… just stall them to BDs ocasionally. But as for that show, half the team has been mia so some parts are still getting done, but its not getting very far.

There is a missing character in the op lyrics. I think I noticed it in previous episodes as well. It is near the end, in the line with “tsukandara.”
Ah, so there is. Apparently the font doesn’t have that kanji. I’ll just replace it with the kana instead.

Spinoff special chapter 6, page 6, third frame on the right: “sill” < "still".
Also, is there something lost in translation in the "falling asleep, fitting for the fall" joke, or am I just not getting the humour? Somebody care to explain the joke?

Ah, so that’s it. Thanks. The pun’s still better in Japanese imo. The way you guys translated it was clever, and got across the same meaning and joke, so well done on that, but I still woud have prefered a TL note, like you guys (most often) usually do.
Since it worked, it didn’t need one. Had it been in the anime, I wouldn’t let a TL note get by and would figure out a way to bring some part of the pun across. TL notes kill puns, imo, which makes them worse than going liberal.
Plus, it’s really not any better in Japanese. It’s equally terrible in both languages. It’s possibly even worse in Japanese, due to it also being horridly cliche.
Though there may have been a way to word the English one slightly better.
It’s just my small opinion. It just sounds slightly better in Japanese to me. But it doesn’t matter, and like you said, it’s not like the joke is brilliant in either language. 😛 I kind of like cheap puns though, but I just tend to find them more funny more often than not in Japanese compared to English for some reason.
