Ah, Macross….The Franchise that introduced me to anime in the first place and always produces some great music. It will always be one of my top favorites and have a special place in my heart. Thank you SOOOO much for doing this. ^_^

You might want to consider hard subbing the karaoke for the songs because it takes a lot to process the subs through video players and can cause choppy video play back issues in some cases.
We don’t hard sub anything as we don’t want to modify the video. We also want to offer people who don’t need or want them to be able to turn them off.
Only if your CPU is dated or an AMD FX cpu/apu(good for games not much else).
Surprised to hear anybody having issues with the karaoke in this show. It played flawless in the latest PotPlayer on my old 2008 pc while encoding x264 and some other stuff running in the background clocking around 89-97% RAM usage and both CPU being maxed 100%. It’s dual core 2.20 GHz intel.
It’s not as intensive as say Kabaneri’s Ending Karaoke effect that one I got problems with. Are you watching that anime and do you got that same issue as with me when it plays that part? Opening in Kabaneri is np.
Jocko mentioned he would be trying to clean up the ed some to make it play better hopefully for EP6. He’s been rather busy lately and hasn’t had much time to KFX.
That is good news. I like the effect with that water but it’s too much on my pc. I tried with nothing else running even restarting and still issues. It’s too intense. Does it play fine on your guys pc? Just wondering cuz the pc I’m on is my first and only I ever owned. Is it a cpu thing?
it plays fine on mine but can cause choppy playback if there is a high action packed scene and song with karaoke. at one time thats all. its nothing big.

yes. and all the other seasons.
Not really so far. It just shares the same universe as the previous series so you can go without watching it however by doing that you will lose some attachment “feels” that this episode shows when Freyja talks about Sheryl and best Macross girl Ranka Lee along with the other two Lynn Minmay and Basara briefly to get what she meant.
Mirage is related to a character from the first Macross and I do not think everybody watching this have watched that. There is also those planes that shares the same make as the other series if you into that. I would recommend watching Macross F though when you got the time. It’s real good except for the damn movies… I’m bitter about ’em tho.
