Hello, peeps. Here’s Jakeman95:
Less than a year ago, I was introduced to what I would have at that time called a silly childrens show (and this coming from the translator that brought you DokiDoki! Precure). However, I found myself helplessly addicted to the series, and upon finding that Naisho would not be continuing with S2, I decided that I must carry on the “pri” and not let the “pushuu” get the better of a rather entertaining and enjoyable… kids show.
Also, for those of you just discovering PriPara, you’re in luck. This episode is more or less a global reset, so getting into the series at this point wouldn’t be impossible (though, I do recommend watching S1).
On a side note, our episode 12 of Mobamas is being delayed due to issues arising from our encode’s audio. We should have it ready later in the week, followed by episode 13 hopefully soon thereafter.

Is naisho still going to be catching up to this with episodes 36-38 that haven’t been subbed yet?
I know they are planning on finishing S1 , just I dono how pushuu they are going to be with it.
Also, when Pikminiman made these encodes, I think he cried a little to himself due to how big they are… xD
So you did decide to go for it. The fight is on.
Naisho announced that they’re not doing the s2.. but kyupikon made an announcement on tackling s2.
I didn’t expect this! thanks Doki! ^o^/
Needs more sophie.
It is Megane-san, not Mega-Neesan, because of the glasses. Get it?
I am fairly certain that it’s pronounced with a long vowel, and given that our staff worked on the episode with closed captions, “Mega-neesan” is most definitely the intended pun, and not “Megane-san”.
it is pronouce with long vowel lol it’s a joku a funny pun for children.
Even without CCs, it’s a fairly easy pun to catch considering you have meganii and meganee. They’re both glasses otaku and as such, to properly bring the pun across, you’d use mega-nee and mega-nii. But, as Kuzu pointed out, there is the long vowel and the CCs clearly indicate it as such (めが姉ぇさん).
This is amazing..
Their names are Meganii and Meganee, so it would be Meganii-san, not Mega-niisan.
their name is play with ”目が”(目が)eyes which me is the 1st part of glasses. the last part is glass but it’s with ga as a subject.
@Termascur that won’t not be wrong because their names would just be in kana which is メガ(mega) +ニー(nii)orネー(nee)
so therefore romaji does not matter.
I know their names are a pun and what they’re a pun on. That doesn’t change the fact that their names are “Meganii” and “Meganee” when romanized. The dash connects the suffix to their names and since “nii” and “nee” are part of the name and not part of the suffix, it’s “Meganii-san” not “Mega-niisan”. And in the CCs, their names are written as “めが兄ぃ” and “めが姉ぇ”.
iirc Jakeman made a patch for the last 3 naisho releases. can you please post here the patch that you made for Ep 36-38? I forgot where did I get it.
