Finally, Michiru appears.
The word on the street is that episode 11 will be the last one. Rumor also has it that it will be a double-length episode. Apparently episodes 11 and 12 will be aired back-to-back next week. We’reI’m hoping that we get 11 out around the normal time and 12 not too much later.

Ha ha, yeah, those file sizes are sexy. Pretty nice how a 720p quality encode in 2015 is smaller than a shit 360p encode from 2005.
Anyway, weird that they’re introducing that new girl so late…

I would love to know how you are encoding these. I’ve only dabbled in encoding but the quality on these is pretty high. Do you guys prefer a specific program? FFmpeg?
FFmpeg certainly is capable of encoding with the same settings I’ve been using for this show, but I’ve been using just plain old x264-10b.exe with avs4x264mod.exe to feed the AVS scripts into it.
If you have any specific questions about the settings I use to encode, feel free to message me on IRC in #doki. If I’m not there, send me a memo and I’ll definitely get back to you.
