You’re confusing high filesize with quality. Throwing crf 13 at every encode and making it 2gb per file doesn’t mean it’s “quality”, just bloated.
Lol, dude, CoalGirls are famous for having super-bloated releases. Please don’t use the sizes of their releases as a measurement for the norm, ok? They couldn’t be any further from the norm. π

Congrats on finishing the show up. I hope Silver Link shrug off the controversy and finish up the light novel material. It’s too good to be left unfinished, it would be an awful shame.
I doubt this series will get a season two with that drama back then. No more Iori-chan animated is a real tragedy.
I was hoping that since Silver Link have had their fair share of success since the drama surrounding Kokoro Connect, with shows like Non Non Biyori, Prisma illya etc that people may have moved on and are now supporting their shows based on the quality. I hope the anime itself isn’t tainted by this.

May I ask why “furareta” @eps 15 translated as “dumped” instead of “rejected”? I thought “dumped” is used for when either one of a couple to break up and Taichi-Iori were never in a relationship.
@eps 2 review, Aoki’s line “My body kinda tightens up when a guy comes close to me”, isn’t he referred to Yui’s body? So, the line was supposed to be like “Whenever a guy comes close, your body starts shaking.”

Not saying the (video and sound) quality of their releases is bad, I download from them when I have no other choice for BD releases of a show with the subs I want, but their releases are definitely bloated in filesize (sometimes ridicilously so) compared to everyone else (including those whose quality is equal to or better than Coalgirls), there’s no doubt about that.
