To be honest, I watched this “pretty much cliche” anime just because of Yoshino. She’s just too adorable! 😀
1 minute of new footage? I haven’t heard of anime getting this before.. That or I haven’t been paying attention.
Do you mean you haven’t heard of anime getting new footage before, or do you mean you haven’t heard of anime getting just 1 minute of new footage before? If it’s the former, then yes, I’d say you haven’t been paying enough attention since that’s quite common for BD’s of anime shows. 😛 If it’s the latter though, then ye, I agree, that is quite unusual, although I have seen it happen before.
The 1 minute thing lol. I thought with the home video releases they just uncensored stuff. And touched up any animation mistakes, and just assumed that due to budget issues studios can’t afford to make that much of an effort for more footage.

Could you say where exactly that new footage is?
Yoshino is everyone’s most favorite in this series. This is proven in this year’s Saimoe tournament as she’s the only Date A Live character left still standing. Let’s all support her in the upcoming matches.
