EPs 01-09 muxed with mkvmerge v4.0.0, but EP 10 with mkvmerge v5.7.0 and when I try to play it I get:
> [mkv] Track 1 has been compressed with an unknown/unsupported compression
> [mkv] algorithm (3). Skipping track.
And tons of this:
> Error while decoding frame!
> [h264 @ 00FCED94]AVC: nal size ######
> [h264 @ 00FCED94]no frame!
As result – I don’t see the video at all.
Would you fix this please? I know I need to update my version of mplayer, but this is only one version which work with most of the videos (I have a tons of different formats & codecs) – it only not supported this new mkv crap.

P.S. I don’t want to start holywar – I tested CCCP, mplayer2, VLC and latest mplayer build and none of them works fine for me.
Instant solution: use mkvmerge v4.0.0 to remux it http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoolnix/win32/

mkvmerge newer versions only break Haali Media Splitter. VLC & MPlayer(2) should not have troubles.

CRC32 – ok, file plays fine with mplayer2/CCCP111111.
It’s certainly not a problem with the file.
It’s problem with latest mkvmerge which uses compression over streams.
Yes, I can remux it with older mkvmerge, but:
– you can’t reseed modified files and
– you don’t have original Doki release anymore
I hate to touch original files.
I use this older mplayer build (January 2010) because it works fine on files/formats where newer soft crash or even can’t play.
I don’t know what broken, but I test time to time newer builds for mplayer/mplayer2 and none of them work fine for all files&formats that I have.
If you don’t want to change anything – it’s fine.
I just want try to argue for your old way of muxing files.

Probably worth checking the crc first and making sure the file is actually working if you haven’t already.
Other than that…
Download mkvmerge 4.0.0 and remux it yourself. Just be sure to select the subtitle track and select default track = yes.

Good to hear you’ll be doing the OVA’s as well. Will wait for BD batch, like I do with all shows. I’m still wondering whether to watch the anime first, and then read the manga, or the other way around. I happen to have the official English release of volume 1 of the manga…
Me too, that’s how I found out about the show, from the manga.
Though I have to wonder if that ‘Majikewl’ girl thing, was exclusive to the english manga or if its an actual translation if that makes sense? Is it in the anime subs?
I have the first volume, but I haven’t actually read it yet, so I couldn’t tell you the answer to that Rawr. ; )
Personally I just put it down to a poor translation. I’ve spotted random typos in manga I’ve paid for. That’s ridiculus to be honest lol
