No, no, I mean the singing and music. I don’t really care about the video. Also, this is the ED song for Madoka? Man, I can’t resist now, I guess it’s time to find that Doki release of the show I have lying on my computer. ; )
Yeah same, usually with music videos I just listen to the thing whilst doing other things. I don’t really sit and watch the actual video in some cases lol
And yup. Another depressing show too.
Loved Madoka Magica, just really the plot just is so sad.
You can understand why Homura wanted to kill Kyubey in the first episode lol.
Seriously though, Kalafina are really good. Have you guys heard their ED songs from the Kara no Kyoukai movies? “Oblivious” and “Seventh Heaven” are really awesome. That said, is just me, or is their singing kind of…less powerful in the PV version of Magia? This Live Version sounds much better too my ears: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Df0jUziS-QA The Slow version of the song is also quite good imo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HIoCUgyCaE
Sorry I haven’t seen Kara no Kyoukai, and I agree the live version sounds amazing, like they have more presence.
I can only assume it’s because at a concert naturally the music is louder, the speakers and that on stage?
Sorry I didnt respond earlier, got a few hours of sleep and at 5am this song sounds pretty good lol.
It’s too bad these artists don’t hold anime esq concerts outside of Japan, they have some pretty amazing character ones where the Voice actors/actresses sing in character on stage infront of thosands of fans with the anime in the background.
Well, anisong band don’t have many fans outside Japan, so from the POV or market, it’s unprofitable. But they do have some small concert in many anime convention like AFA (Anime Festival Asia). LiSA, KOTOKO, and many more will hold a concert at AFA in my country in September 😛
I’ll take a look when I get the chance, haven’t been watching much lately and have more been downloading from here to watch later for some shows.
@Index
Perhaps they could do one time events in America etc, where they perform for one night at a certain location, could work, if you give anime fans enough notice.
Thanks!
First! Hmm, Kalafina? I might have to check out the song in that case.
Fuck…Guess not first. >_<
You got the “first failure”.
Guess so…
Thankyou for this 🙂
Just finished watching. As expected of Kalafina, that was awesome. Thanks Doki. ; )
Was it that good?
Miming is kinda common in music videos so..

You REALLY need to watch Kara no Kyoukai man. One of the best anime series (well, it’s an anime-movie series to be precise. 7 movies) ever imo. ; )

You sure do like a lot of music
I’m sure you will dance to most of it.
Thanks! 😀
Will you do the Fate/zero “To The Beginning” by Kalafina if there is a Pv?
