You’re most likely experiencing lag due to the heavy typesetting, I recommend you change your vsfilter to xy-vfilter which processes subtitles in a more efficient and faster way than the official one. http://code.google.com/p/xy-vsfilter/
There is a little derp in the script at 08:06.30 and the following line. In Aegisub it appears that the two lines overlap for 0.01 seconds and the second part of the sentence in the first line is repeated in the second line.

Also look at this article from CCCP on which output renderer to use on MPC, I have found personally that EVR works best in most settings. http://www.cccp-project.net/wiki/index.php?title=FAQ#What_video_renderer_is_recommended.3F

We conducted an internal investigation, but we’re still not completely sure just how that happened.
