Hate it or love it, deny it as much as you want, but BLOOD-C is one of the best shows this season, at least for us psychos and freaks who got taste. The others being NO.6 and Mawaru-Penguindrum.
If you watch the finale, then you might finally understand what the fuck is going on. Why shit was so slow paced and everything else at first. Do watch it. Allow BLOOD-C to fuck your mind for one last time.

I gotta say Nono and Nene’s deaths were my favorite. Predictable, but LOL when one backhands the other in the face to get ahead…
Thanks to the team for the sticking with it and being punctual. I have to say though this last episode has several spots where the phrasing could be better, for example some of the last lines from Fumito: “Your favorite guimauves were made from the blood of your food / I hear they taste like human organs”… Is he saying that Furukimono taste the same as humans? Or that the guimauves are made of people because the Furukimono eat people? Or…? It just isn’t very clear. There are a few spots during his conversation w/Saya in the “blood room” that are also confusing (paraphrasing): “anyone doesn’t understand the aged ones” “and you do?” “no, i’m not”.
Saya “actually” used to eat humans but made a promise to that weird dog that she’d protect everyone and whatever. Fumito however decided to mix in some human blood (and probably other shit, too). Evidently he’s mocking her by saying how guimauves taste like human organs and by adding, “They were delicious, weren’t they? (⌒▽⌒)” He’s been hinting it in the earlier episodes as well, if you recall.
Oh please tell me you know who the dog is xD It’s literally saying “HEY! WE’RE IN THE CLAMPIVERSE!!!”

I love CLAMP. xxxHolic is like their version of Kamen Rider Decade.
But her current food is not people, hence me saying it is unclear. 😉
As for CLAMP, I think they just went crazy after all that tsubasa chronicle nonsense…
Meh. Not that great of a show, lacks excitement mainly. Then again this whole season was kinda boring. Almost dropped this show, but my sister wanted to watch it with me (she likes bloody stuff).
NO. 6 wasn’t that good either in my opinion, I just watched it cuz my friend asked me to, but I didn’t enjoy it at all.
Can’t say anything about Penguin-whatsoever cuz that didn’t even catch my interest.
Next season is what it is all about 😉

Somebody at CLAMP had a really good time storyboarding this episode. Hope it was therapeutic for them to get all of their morbid shit out of their system, cause it doesn’t do a lot for me. I’m disappointed that we have to wait until next June to see the real ending of the story.
Well thanks for subbing it guys, even if I don’t agree about it being top 3. Basically the only good thing about this show was how hilariously they trolled their entire viewership by pretending it was a just a shitty show all along before the reveal. That trolling maybe puts in top 5 of the season since it has so little competition.

You’re mistaken. It’s an original work by Production I.G. and CLAMP. This isn’t like Geass where CLAMP just contribute the character design. In Blood-C, CLAMP is involved in the story as much as the people from Production I.G.
damn that massacre was insane. i’m genuinely scared to watch the uncensored version of this series.

My comment is nothing to do with this episode.. BUT, with your site.. My avast antivirus keep warning me that this site is infected with HTML:Iframe-inf.. I need to disable my antivirus so that I can access the site.. I have use 3 different computers with same antivirus and all of them show the same warninig.. It’s NOT my computer that is been infected.. BUT your site.. Pleases fix this..
Additional information.. I guess the infection have something to do with the www7.cbox.ws site popup that keep appearing the warning on your site.. (Base on my antivirus summary)

I see. But yes, as long as you can confirm if it is an actual infection of the cbox site (it can also be a string of false positives, Avast and other security software sometimes do this) it should be taken off the forums. I’m sure as long as he’s informed Holo will disable it as soon as possible.
BTW, I’m saddened by your backing out of the intention of subbing Fate/Zero. Is there a particular reason? Perhaps lack of interested staff?
We came to the conclusion it was likely to be a problem show. As in constant missing staff, lack of resources to release at a decent speed.
Basically, a waste of effort.

No infection report here on my AV that I’m using… maybe it’s just a case of a false-positive that was reported on Avast’s site… Or there’s an ad or something on the cbox site that flag an alert that triggers the Avast AV heuristics thing which can eventually be a false-positive. In which, most of the time happens on Avast AV… That’s why I don’t use Avast anymore…

I’m debating with myself if I’m going to watch the censored one or wait till February(?) to watch the full uncensored ones -_-
If you have the patience to wait, then you should just wait. Basically this is just a prologue to the movie. The movie itself will come out mid next year (and for the BD of the movie you probably have to wait for another 6 month).
If you just have to watch it now then I wont stop you. Just remember that there are only two things that keep this show from sucking hard… gore and the ending. If you just want to know about the show, you can just watch the 1st ep (or maybe a couple of more… definitely not necessary) and the 3 last eps (watching the 1st and last episodes only is definitely okay, but probably for full enjoyment you need to watch a couple of episodes before the last one just to build the tension and atmosphere).
I think most people that stick watching Blood-C till the end will watch it again when the uncensored version come out. Myself, I’m really curious about how those gore scene supposed to look like without the censors.

UTW is doing it with a script based on the official translation. From what I saw its more than sufficient and it has the added benefit of being faster. They’ll be releasing it in Hi10P though.
I see Doki removed Fate/Zero from the Autumn’11 lineup. Oh well, I will be watching UTW’s now.

I’m definitely disappointed with Blood-C. It wasn’t a bad show and those 3 last episodes definitely save the show, but I’m expecting something like Blood+ (basically something more epic). Blood-C is like a long multi episodes dream sequence… trolling the viewer… In the end, this show is just an introduction for the Blood-C Movie.
Capping a tennis match is instead of anime is indeed a way to troll. :p

Certainly was difficult to keep watching all the slow episodes but glad that I made it. 🙂
I feel the movie is going to disappoint as much as this series. Yeah, the first and last two episodes were decent, but 2-10 were just unnecessary for a prequel setting up a movie finale. The movie should be a season 2, but since it won’t then I find it will be predictable. The main characters are dead and the entire plot is unraveled. Movie lengths would be equal to what? 3 or 4 episodes? I don’t see any kind of plot twist in that short amount of time. Saya is going to chase down bid baddy and kill him. That’s all that’s left in this story.

What’s a TL do?
TL ussually refers to a Translator. TLC is the translation-checker, TS is the tipesetter and so on. Basically, I dunno if they are kidding or not but they’re asking for someone to translate the tennis match their capper got instead of the anime. xD
