While technically true, they don’t put all their planned projects there. SHows like Zero no Tsukaima have projects planned for them too. It seems like the projects go according to the whims of the available staff members.
Personally I thought the BD projects were just side projects for the staff to do whilst doing the TV releases. Mix that up with real life commitments of everyone involved and it’s understandable 😛
I think the TV airings started after Doki had actually gotten more staff. BD’s for TV shows they’ve subbed are treated as final batches so almost all the mistakes are fixed for them (hence no v2’s for the TV airing version unless there’s technical difficulties in a TV file). But with the amount of shows Doki does now then yes, they’re mostly side-jobs the staff does. They just happen to have more lee-way with them since they, for the most part, are already translated (either by Doki themselves or by another group).

I’m just wondering. Any particular reason why not encoding in Hi10P? I ask because I read your future plans for Hi10P and also you posted the first Kanon-Hi10P-ReEncode earlier then the first part of Ano Hana BD
