Didn’t like it, worst show of the season. Especially after such an idiotic first episode, which didn’t even introduce the main character of all the harem until the end. Maybe if I knew which girl he was going to end with, or at least which one he talked to the most, then I would have liked it.
I find it interesting that all of the girls were in the series IdolM@ster Xenoglossia, but beyond that there is no comparison between the two shows. It is weird to see the same characters being portrayed in a totally different manner. IdolM@ster Xenoglossia was a Neon Genesis Evangelion style show. Giant robots, Earth in danger, Female pilots, lots of angst, in short, nothing like this show.
namco games gave the game franchise to sunrise to make an anime adaptation, and somehow xenoglossia was the result. Really the only relation between xenoglossia and the rest of the idolmaster franchise are the character designs and the word “idolmaster” in the title.
That’s a distinct possibility, and it was considered. That kind of wordplay isn’t unheard of in idolmaster songs. The title of the song is “I’m Ready!!”, though, and until the official lyrics come out there’s really no way to be absolutely sure.
Yeah, both Blick and I heard that too, but I figured it was just our ears playing tricks on us, and a blog post I dug up by a Japanese native speaker seemed to agree with what we eventually went with. If it actually was ‘I’m a lady’, then you can blame me for it. XD
If it’s not too much work, it’d be great if you could include a subtitle track without the karaoke. You know, there are some people who don’t want to sing along when watching anime.
But it’s distracting. It wouldn’t hurt to give the option to turn it off.
While I can just turn off the subs for the OP/ED I can’t do that for the insert song because there’s also dialogue.
P.S. there is a typos @17:21 “It would be better it you shot us from a little bit more to the right.”
I think the line should be “It would be better if….”

Leave it to Sunrise to take a series about girls singing and turn it into an anime about giant robots coming out of nowhere.
