What kind of episode is this? Story or fanservice? Asking because although I like the series, I dont feel like watching a non story ep.
Since it’s the start of season 2, it’s an introductory episode with fanservice. So there isn’t any plot in this…
Although Baka to Test is a comedy so I have no idea why you would watch it for the plot…

It will be done before the start of Fall 2011 season if everything goes according to keikaku (plan).

Just what I need.
Is this because I asked of this a few days back? Either way, I’m still greatful. Here’s to seeing the rest of the season. Yuuji/Shouko pair is just too funny to watch; Class A’s Super Genius madly in love with the King of Bakas, priceless. Though Yuuji does admit Shouko deserves better, she won’t hear of it, or give him up…without breaking him first.

Just finished watching this release. While it’s definitely my favorite, I do have some nitpicks regarding certain phrases.
I’m not sure whether you guys decided to follow FFFpeeps’ phrasing in these few instances but I did notice numerous similarities such as ‘grit your teeth’ being translated as ‘brace yourself’, ‘nude model from an erotic magazine’ being translated as ‘porn star’ and ‘It’s been fun’ translated to ‘thanks for all the memories’.
Minor stuff like that aside, I do appreciate the left-in honorifics and nick-names. Also noticed you guys didn’t translate the text question in the eye-catch and ending, but that really isn’t a major issue.
Me and chibi (the editor, you know, that’s in SGKK and not Doki) have an extremely similar vernacular and apparently that carried over to editing style. She didn’t watch my release until after she had finished, nor I her’s (obviously). It was pretty hilarious that we the same phrasing for “grit your teeth”.
I also watched FFFpeeps version.
I don’t know at all that Doki is also doing this.

Is Doki translating the dialogue when they show the mini version of the characters chatbox, etc?
Example Ep. 3. 13 minutes in the date scene.
In Elysium offer they only translated 1-2 episodes nothing else so missed what was being said.

Few TL mistakes, like 00:10:22, she said her chest is small and her belliy is SHOWING, not slim.
You also didn’t translate any of the text at the half point of the episode… including the actual title of the episode.

What about the 2 ovas released not long ago? Do you plan to translate those as well or has any serious group already traslated them?
EveTaku already did a great job with the Matsuri OVAs in my opinion.
As I remember, they translated Tsuchiya’s nickname as perverted ninja. That’s way too long.

To all of you yammering about, “OMG DOKI IS DOING THIS TOO. I’M SO EXCITE” did you even bother to read that it’s only Doki’s translation? Everyone else is from SGKK. Blind loyalty for the loss.
I know how you feel man, but that’s how most people are. You should expect it if you’ve been in the fansubbing business for a little while. There’s no point in letting yourself get annoyed over it. : )
Eh, I give myself the liberty to post some mild rage every once and a while; keeps it from boiling over. 🙂 Now if I posted this one every single one these comment chains… then we’d have a serious problem.
