Sad that they didn’t include many of the things that happened in the novels :/

But did i read that there will be a 13rd ep with the BDs? yes!! xDDD
The anime was originally suppose to be 13 episodes long, but because of the tsunami and earthquake, they had to shorten it to 12. So the actual last episode will be on the BDs and DVDs.
Thanks for taking this show! I know you have many shows for BD’s, but I’ll wait for this one when the BD’s of this comes around…

I really enjoyed this series, until the last episode (excluding the yet to arrive Ep13.)
Either this is meant to be a cliff-hanger for series 2, or they chose to cut the story short.
Does Makoto choose Erio or Ryuuko? Is the girl in the space suit His and Erio’s child (or grandchild?) Will there be a second series?
AS much as I’d like a 2nd series, I’m guessing that there’s about as much chance as finding a snowball in hell.

It cuts off suddenly because there are still two chapters left in book 3, so they didn’t get to the climax of it.
Given that they will have reached the end of book 3 once the DVD-only episode comes out, and there are at current 7 books out, a sequel is not out of the question.
Sorry, I made a typo. There are 8 books as of April 2011. Not including the alternative retelling of book 1.
This was my favorite series of the season, yet this just feels very unfinished; I doubt the one extra episode will help much at all to finish this. From how the show was paced I was assuming that this would be 24-26 episodes, disappointing.
Anyone think that there is a chance for a second season at all? I could not dig any thing up regarding this.

I’m quite sure I read on a news somewhere that the producers of this show were saying that a little bit more sales of the DVD/Blu-ray would be sufficient for a second season, so we can hope for a second one later (and considering SHAFT, there is quite some chances it does continue)
Didn’t it sold plenty? Or maybe shaft’s idea of what good sales are got skewed after all the sales Madoka and Bakemonogatari had. Anyway, if sales from Volume 1 keep up it should be more than enough to justify a season 2.
