The two series do not have a connection if I have got everything right, so you can start right away with Blood-C. I mean it’s not a sequel or so.
Just what Omega said. Only connection is both female leads share the same name. I like this ‘Saya’ more. Because she is clumsy and cute.
I have nothing against the new Saya (other than her hairstyle), but I certainly wouldn’t say I like her better than Saya in Blood+. I’m definitely not liking the art style all that much.
Well what else would you expect from an original creation by CLAMP. Certainly the characters are designed by those four women. /pointing at CardCaptor Sakura, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, xxxHOLiC, Code Geass or most recent Kobato as reference.
I’m glad you like her more, too! I actually didn’t care much for Blood+ at all, but was pretty excited for this one. I like the idea, but the execution didn’t impress me. This Saya is MUCH more cute, and she’s gorgeous to boot! I hope the series is as amazing as I’m expecting from this first ep.
LQ is good ’cause I only wanna know what the show is about and if I’m gonna watch it.

Even LQ is good when you are choosing shows to follow. Besides – smaller filesizes make it portable when traveling and using a borrowed PC at your destination.
I’ve been saving up the first 3 of each show and watching them together before deciding whether to follow the rest of the season.
Many MANY thanks to Doki for putting out multiple sizes of everything when possible.
Lol some of you guys think that Doki released a low quality version on purpose so that people can choose shows without wasting much bandwidth.
It’s only low quality because it’s a webrip, which is only available in such a low quality, compared to high quality HDTV rips.

If only you guys decide on doing Natsume San, Dantalian no Shoka and Kamisama no Memochou, I am not going to any other place for my summer anime!
Hmm, Natsume San doesn’t look too interesting to me at first glance, but Dantalian no Shoka might be, and Kamisama no Memo-chou (don’t forget the “-” in the name man. ; ) ) defenitely looks intriguing.
