Great choice, I watched the first episode (HorribleSubs) and I’m totally sucked in. Downloading this (superior) version now.
Still thinking it’s superior? I like Doki, but I wonder why their version has the annoying “TOKYO MX” in the upper right (only thing more annoying is a clock) and has the image re-sized and text scrolling across the screen one minute into the show, while HorribleSubs has neither. I’ll continue to grab Doki, and I will be sure to get the DVD/BR version from them, but I wonder if there was a better RAW out for this someplace.
Why? because they used a TV stream/raw (I don’t really know which) while Horrible just rips from CR. A webstream isn’t going to have the sorta watermarks/news alerts that a TV stream will.

I like how everyone still thinks CR have sub-par subs. I bet no one here knows that the translator for this show (for CR) is also the same translator for Eclipse.
So I suggest the CR bashers to watch it before you condemn it.

Awesome show done by awesome group! Many thanks for doing this. Btw. is there any special reason (like that it’s written using seal script) you haven’t transliterated/translated the inn sign, it was zoomed in so I think it could warrant subbing…
