So with Air complete, here is my next Blu-Ray project.
This is one of my favourite comedies ever. No group has completed the Blu-Ray of this show, so I have picked it up. This show will be released between now and November. I intend to complete this before Haruhi Blu-Rays come out. You can guess what my next Blu-Ray project will be XD.
There will be no 1080p because this was a terrible upscale from 480p. Original translation was done by [gg].

Just curious but are you using your own subs or m33w or the official subs?
The subs are 1-5;17-21 from m33w, the rest is gg (from the time it was good). I can wholeheartedly recommend this to everyone for the pure awesome comedy this series is.
for eps 25-26? AFAIK gg is stuck at ep24…
your-mom did 25 & 26 you should try looking for those is you wish to finish this show or wait for doki’s releases.
LOL at first I was like dude, that was a horrible your mom joke. And then I remembered that that was a fansub group.
Doki will probably heavily TLC/edit the YaMom releases of 25-26

Also a question if you don’t mind. Do you guys do your own blu-ray encode or just use raws and re-encode them?

I encode from the BDMV. Seto BDMV was ~200 GB
I Loveed this show. Too bad it finished, well, it was a good ending though
Wtf?! 200GB..Thats just a bit less than half my hard disk :S
not strange. Consider that each bray disc is around 30-40GB big and usually each bray disc will only contain 5 episodes. If you do your math, than Seto has 26 eps = 6disc (reality 8 disc for Seto including some extra) so it can easier hit the 200GB mark.
I thought Japan released two episodes per Blu-Ray disk?
Depends on the show length. 12-13 episode length shows are usually 2eps/disc, 23-27 episode length shows are usually 3eps/disc, 49+ episode length shows are usually 4eps/disc.
but we have to remember that fishbribe bray came as a boxset instead of selling each disc individually

now this is a show I’am dying to complete, I followed ayako’s release of this till they dropped it then i switch to your-mom (which had really bad subs) then to m33w(dvd) then to gg(also dvd). Thats a whole lot of group to archive just 1 show, glad to see that you guys picked this up now i can archive this show under 1 group… thank you very much!
Oh yeah ! Finally, it is out, I have source of this series but because so many groups do not like the quality. I hope this series will have subs by the group Doki.

the difference being, we are going to do ALL the episodes, not drop it halfway
We’ll have to see about that, SnH has a nasty habit of stalling.
But I love it all the same and would gladly sacrifice many more groups if someone, someday could get a complete copy out.

We’ll see when we get to 25-26. If Your-mom’s TL proves that disasterous, TLing it in house is not out of the question.

Sun is what funimation (or whatever licenser) made of it. At a certain point, there is even a pun on her name (San-san). So I believe SAN is the right name. I’m going to use Lunar eitherway.

I know about the cd covers. I generally consider “Sun” to be San’s artist name, and will keep any reference to her artist’s name as Sun, but will still stick to San for everything else.
