Also, I have a small complaint. My favourite shows of the year aren’t on the poll on the left, so I can’t pick them. 😛 Granted I’ve watched very little anime every year for a while now, so my opinions are worthless in such a poll, but still…I’m at least a little miffed that Fate Stay Night UBW S2 isn’t on it…I also wouldn’t mind seeing Yuru Yuri Nachuyachumi+ added to the list…

Probably Kiniro Mosaic and Yuru Yuri.
Zero no Tsukaima close 4th, but the final season was rushed to fuck and ruined it.
And let’s not forget Naruto Shippuuden…
Yuru Yuri and Naruto Shippuuden. This man has great taste, I approve. 🙂 Now if only Shippuuden would stop endlessly killing me with fillers, and give us the rest of the story already! Personally my favourites other than Naruto are probably Death Note, Kara no Kyoukai, Clannad, Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni, GTO, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, and Utawarerumono. There are lots of other gems as well though…I have a hard time choosing to be honest (and I might have forgotten some)…That’s also all not counting single, standalone anime movies (Kara no Kyoukai is a movie series and doesn’t count), like several of Studio Ghibli’s movies, which I absolutely love.
This series was great and showed that you can stick to your story line, stick to everything you’ve built up, play it out as it should be, and still have a lot of people love the show! (I’d go on with more, but spoiler)
So many animes fail in the last 1 or 2 episodes because they chicken out on follow through, try for a second season, or just wtf (see Rokka no Yuusha anime for wtf).
Very happy that you guys are doing this. I liked the story for this one. I did feel kind of bad for Michiru though. I’ll definitely be making your BD release my archive copy, until I can buy licensed BDs.
