Hello. I wasn’t really sure what to expect when I started to work on this show, except maybe Aikatsu with weird pets. But I’ve come to realize it’s much deeper than that. Though it’s a show for kids, there’s a lot that we can learn from it. While your criticism is welcomed, your tone is not. At least check your own grammar if you’re writing a comment about our grammar!
“That” in this instance can be a conjunction or a preposition. Obviously I’ve used it as a conjunction, and so the subject is “they”. I wouldn’t tell you you were wrong for saying “better than them” – I don’t subscribe to that level of pedantry – but saying that “better than they” is wrong is just ignorant. Why do you think the expression’s “holier than thou” and not “holier than thee”? Maybe have half an idea of what you’re talking about before you write a comment about someone else’s grammar.
I apologise for referring to the manner in which you (Doki overall, perhaps not you) did something as being that of “an [sic] retard”.
TBH, when I first started trying to use archaic English, I didn’t know wtf I was doing and didn’t actually take the time nor think that there’s a proper way that the thee, thou, ye, etc are used…
But on this note, I think I’ve finally got it… maybe? I think I finally got the “hang” of it around 45ish… tho, don’t expect me to be perfect.
