Here is a movie that I really wanted to do, and luckily a few other people wanted to do it as well!

The Precures teach us about being friends and if they were guys, probably about being bro. xMythycle clearly lives the way of the Precure by being super bro. He did the most work on this movie and I would like to thank him for that!

First off, the choice to go with Chimera may be confusing for western viewers at first, as we are more use the the Greek Chimera, which is generally a lion with snake and goat parts. There is a Chimera in Japanese mythology as well, called a Baku which is originally a chimera of an elephant and a tiger, but has the form of a tapir in modern days. Instead of eating your face, the Baku eats nightmares and is a gentle spirit. Baku incidentally is also the Japanese word for the tapir, and to avoid confusion and make it clear it is about the mythological creature in this movie, and not a tapir, I called the バク “Chimera” in this movie.

If you haven’t seen the first All Stars New Stage movie you are probably wondering who Cure Echo is. She is a Precure that only appears in the movies and, unlike normal Precure, doesn’t have a device to transform herself with. And until this movie, she also did not have a fairy to accompany her. You can catch a glimpse of her during the Opening Song!
