Afaik this show was actually produced as means to promote the game in a way. It’s AKB48, there is no “coincidence” here lol Take me for example, prior of getting the offer to work on this I only knew about the game, and others who knew about the show didn’t even know there was a game, so one way or another, word’s traveling around fast and as soon as you type the name in Google, voila~ Hit 2 birds with 1 stone (I’m shit at explaining but I hope you get what I mean lol)
Lol yeah I guess. Anyway I don’t know much about AKB48 beyond the fact they’re just a popular idol group, I just think this game would be one of those games you’d play thinking What? and Lol while playing lol. It looks so random. If I ever visit Japan soon I think I’ll look out for it.

It’s actually not free. There’s advertising, so you pay indirectly with your privacy. So you can set *some* demands, as long as they’re reasonable. Still, translation takes time.
