Thanks again and all that. A question though. Not to be an ass, but I thought the batches were supposed to have the NCOP’s and NCED’s in it.
Don’t get me wrong, I am happy for what you gave us and I know it’s a lot of work. I just thought I read that when you began the re-releases last week.
they only do that for BD-Batches, and even then some don’t have them(Seitokai Yakuindomo for example)

If you only bother with Doki, then what do you do when there is a show you really want to watch, but Doki isn’t doing it, and it’s not available in English officially? 😛 I could never follow such a policy myself. 😛

Why was this never released BD?
It was, but the BD’s were so crappy in quality that they were actually WORSE than the DVD’s, so Doki never did them.
How did they manage to fuck up the BDs that badly?
Good question. It’s not the first time it’s happened though. One of the seasons (can’t remember which) of Shakugan no Shana had the same problem…
I guess that when the original material is hardly worth 720p, it’s easy to fuck up the video while upscaling it to 1080p.

The Main differences I see so far, are Doki using their own translation, while Jarza uses Underwater’s and that Doki has all the OPs/EDs subbed, which are unsubbed in Jarza’s release I can’t say much about the quality yet but I got myself Doki’s release and if only for the translated OPs/EDs.

second OP felt like it was subbed kind of oddly.
IDK which subs I originally watched for this show, but they always left Saki’s main move as “Rinshan Kaihou”. It is kind of jarring to see it now as “Tsumo after Kan”. Not that it is wrong, just different XD.
I was considering leaving all the mahjong yaku in Japanese, but then you’re gonna have a whole lot more Japanese in the subs. Have to draw a line somewhere, so I decided to translate the mahjong yaku.
