Thanks for the release… Only gripe I have is that I find your naming of Myuser and Petrarka is awkward. I much prefer HS version which is Myucel and Petralka. Sounds more natural and more like an actual name.
Any reason for the spelling choice? I wanna keep with your subs cause they have OP/ED karaoke but dat naming is killing me x.x
Petrarca’s name instantly reminded me of Francesco Petrarca, and so it was an easy decision to use the spelling of an actually existing name (albeit a family name) for her first name.
Myuser’s name was a more difficult one. I tried out many different possible spellings to find something that would look like a real name. Nothing really looked right to me, and so I decided to not spell her name in some weird, made-up way, but rather use the original kana spelling. However, as in Japanese spellings of foreign names the final -u is almost always an artefact of the kana system, I figured it’d be safe to drop.
Don’t let the naming kill you. It’s not like they’re real names anyway, so there’s not only one proper way to spell them.
So long as I can identify the name from what I hear, I’m good with it. At some point, they may have romaji for the names, in which case, it’d be official (Though in some cases, Japanese studios have done some bizzare things with romaji) and they can be fixed for BD. (Or, with a small amount of work, you can fix them for yourselves with a set of mkv tools and a simple text editor.)
So far, I’m reasonably impressed by this show, there seems to be some actual substance to the story line, instead of just fanservice and jokes about otaku. I’ll admit that it certainly doesn’t hurt that Myuser may be the cutest half-elf maid character ever. :p 😀

I found a small error. At 2:22 Shinchi utters a line that doesn’t get subbed. I checked, it’s in both versions.
