If I remember correctly, only the first OVA was included in the KoreZombie BD S1 Box-set so you can’t really group it into S1 :-/

This is part of Season 2, it was sold to Funimation with the rest of the Season 2 episodes too. It was also released in the Season 2 boxset lol

Only OVA1 (Season 1, Episode 13) and OVA3 (Season 2, Episode 11) got BD releases, the former of which was DVD-only until the S1 BD Box was released. So, BD for OVA2 (Season 2, Episode 0) will have to wait until they release a BD Box, which hasn’t been announced yet.

Where are you seeing that BD is available? And where are you seeing that other groups did BD? Every release I see there has DVD as its source so…
AniDB incorrectly assigned the source. The 1280x720s listed there are DVD upscales.
It was probably a budget thing, maybe it costs more to animate something in HD so they did Episode 0 not in HD lol
It was animated in HD, but only got released on DVD probably due to disc prices at the time. When S2 gets a BD Box, they’ll most likely include Ep0, in its HD glory.
