- Big files because of grain (hand-drawn anime), even though reduced
- 1080p sometime in the future, when x265 is ready
- Liberal subs in American English (because changing this means rewriting everything for 161 episodes, not gonna do that)

Hopefully Doki wont ever stop the h264 releases. Unless someone knows of a media player that can decode 10bit (clearly my WD doesnt). I don’t watch anime on my computer, only on my TV. So thank you for the 480p releases.
Connect your TV to your computer, and watch your anime on your TV via your computer (i.e, use your TV as a monitor for your PC). Problem solved. ┐(￣_￣)┌ That’s what all the rest of us do.
I do that sometimes via HDMI. I got the WD TV Live back in 2009 for its size and because it looks better than having a laptop next to my 40″. (Also 10bit wasn’t popular yet), But there seems to be no alternative so I’m fine with it for now. Ranma looks great in HD though. :^)

Go buy one (Amazon has a good deal) and use it for fetching the stuff. You could even fetch your own encodes…

Once upon a time I remember using Adobe Premiere’s Despeckle filter to reduce TV noise and help videos compress better. I wonder if something similar could be done here to reduce file size?
The grain is already reduced. The file size is ~40-50% (depending on the episode) smaller than an unfiltered encode (with the same settings).
Will you release a batch in the end or should I start downloading now?
Also will you be doing the movies as well?

Any reason why the ordered chapters for the OP on episodes 17-21 revert back to the first OP? Is that the way it was intended to be watched or a mistake? Just wondering if you noticed that.

aaah Natsukashii!!! Thank you soooo much for doing this. Brings back my childhood. Good thing Flash memory are humongous now. Now I can just load this onto my Galaxy S4 and hook it up to a TV through HDMI anywhere I go and watch when I’m bored. Too bad it doesn’t support ordered chapters. But Can’t complain no need to re-encode either. Need a second card for season 2 though. ^_^

Awesome release which introduced me to one of the greatest anime I’ve been overlooking for years, many thanks guys. After seeing those 54 eps, I got totally hooked to it. Is there any new info on the next batch? I’m not sure if it’s reliable source, but the BD should have been released yesterday. Anyway, thanks for the great job.

Are you guys really sure the Intro plays AFTER the OP? According to the files in this torrent http://www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=461906, the OP plays AFTER the Intro. And on MAL (http://myanimelist.net/anime/210/Ranma_%C2%BD), eps 19 to 24 are not listed to have any OP at all, yet in your files, you included them via ordered chapters.
