ED updated to official.
It looks like we’re still the only group to have released episode 2, lol. (Based on Tokyo-Tosho, of course.)

I love you guys for this! (Bro love only)
Thank you for the release!! ^___^
Thanks you guys! Thank god your doing it, I couldn’t get through the season knowing this wasn’t being subbed!
Many thanks for the new release!
well there is [Kimisubs] they put it you know where, but they are not up to your level
having said that, appreciate the fast releases, keep it up and thx for your work
Thanks for the hard work! 🙂
Thanks! 😀
Hey Holo, please do some comparisons.
I’m currently still in China. I promise to catch up on all the comparisons when I come back next week.
Thank you guys, I appreciate all of your hard-work and effort to bring those episodes every week. 😀
All the more reason to keep this “on schedule”
Thanks!
Thanks for the release!
Well, according to nyaa kimisubs and deadfish are the ones who releases Kimi no Iru XD
Though, yeah, deadfish encodes your sub.
Nyaa isn’t exactly representative of the anime fansub scene, lol.
And once Nyaa finds out that Deadfish is using our subs, his encodes (at least for this show) will get deleted.
That seems kind of petty.
Says a lot about the Nyaa owner too, carrying on a grudge no one cares about anymore lol
wow, 4 girls now?
Anyway thankyou for this.
I just wanted to say thank you for your hard work and subbing this! I was worried no one reliable was going to pick this up but lo-and-behold you guys did! Eba is still best girl but it’s a shame he’s oblivious to every other beauty >_<
I second this, i was a bit bothered at first no real sub group would take this series but good ol’ Doki save the day as always, so thanks a bunch ^^
Thank you!
Those credits seem rather empty. 😛 I assume even if you just took the translation from somewhere else (I wouldn’t know), and then added typesetting, I assume somebody must still have encoded this right? And what about QC’ing and Editing?
TheThing is trolling with credits 😡
Everything magically appeared on the FTP, but we saw it wasn’t typeset, so
OrillionHolo typeset it and released it.Lol.

Ah, right.
6:47 – why would you tl “Watashi, sorosoro…” as “I got carried away” when she’s clearly saying she should be going now?
Yeah, the more accurate translation would be “I’ve to go soon..”
But to be fair, sorosoro could mean other things like slowly, gradually and soon. I was trying to make it flow in that she took a long time on the phone, which resulted in that event which took place inside the room. So I opted for getting too caught up on the phone.
But in this case, as it’s so commonly implied that she was saying she had to leave soon, she didn’t have to complete the sentence.
I started watching this based on 2 factors.
1. You’re subbing it.
2. The release pic for Ep 2.
5:23 I’m sure Kirishima-kun has too strong a sense of responsibility
Doesn’t sound right to me
Sounds right to me.
きっと責任感が強いんだよね\N桐島君は。
責任感 = Sense of responsibility
First and foremost, grateful for the release from Doki.
That said, I’m slightly disappointed in this anime, mostly for petty, personal reasons. The tones of their voices just wasn’t what I imagined ever since I started reading Kimi no Iru when it started. Yuzuki and Rin sounded close to what was in my head, Akari semi-close (but still on track with her tomboy character), Takashi and Haruto, uh…Just seems a bit dull with Haruto too low pitched and Takashi probably a notch too low for the energetic idiot of the group. Namami, actually a notch too high for her voice, but her tone of her speech sounds about right. Biggest disappointment was Nagoshi, since I was under the impression she was an airhead in her own little world at times (especially after seeing her again post high school).
Anyways, minor rant aside, can’t wait to see next week’s release and move wonderful work from you guys.
Yeah, I can understand the association of certain voices to the characters having read the manga. Surprisingly, Nakajima Megumi was what I had in mind for Yuzuki’s voice. Similarly, I also felt the low pitch nature of Haruto’s voice sounds too old for him.
As for Nanami, I expected a more aloof sounding voice. She is voiced by Takao Yuki and that is her actually her debut role.
Not many people translate this anime, for sure. Not many people watch it too. We are rare people (masochists) who get enjoyment from “A Town Where You Rage”. Thanks for the hard work!
